Vacation rentals with a patio in Akumal

This place was magical! Private, romantic, beautiful inside and outside. We rented a car which we definitely recommend mostly bcuz of the heat. Easy parking & also safe. It was far enough from the noise but close enough into town and 10-15 mins from the beach. We loved it and will definitely be going back. We felt so at peace as soon as we stepped inside. Can’t recommend it enough! Also the communication was instant. Worth every penny!

We had a lovely stay. Condo was perfect and exactly as explained. Bring some laundry detergent with you. Only downside was it wasn’t walkable to anything so you have to have a car but we knew this in advance. Akumal is 5 min away and Tulum is 20-40 depending on where you want to go. Lilian was super responsive and helpful.

Staying at this Airbnb was the right decision. The place is incredibly beautiful, as i have never seen such a uniquely built compound. The hosts are the best when it comes to communication, since they always replied less than half an hour from any message i sent them. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Just take into account that the road to the compound is very bad and bumpy and that there are a lot of bugs outdoors since you are in the jungle.

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Tulum! The property was exactly as described—beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a perfect mix of comfort and local charm. The space felt private and peaceful, surrounded by lush jungle but still close to everything. The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive, offering great local recommendations for cenotes, restaurants, and hidden spots that made the trip unforgettable. The check-in process was smooth and easy as well.

the accommodation is luxurious for the price there's nothing missing we love cooking while traveling and everything was there even plastic dishes, paper towels and plastic bags If you like snorkeling, the lagoon on the site is definitely wonderful. Don't pay for nothing by going elsewhere. even if getting there is a little difficult, it's worth it Carolyn and Tianna gave super helpful and quick advice by car you have a wide range of activities to choose from from the balcony we saw coatis For the beach, you should know that there are a lot of waves and we were there during the Sargassum period so the part where we could have enjoyed the beach was not very interesting. The shallow rooftop pool has a beautiful view and allowed us to have very relaxing afternoons.

Our experience was very good. We felt very comfortable, the Airbnb is far enough from the center to not hear noise and be quiet, and at the same time very close to go by bike. A plus was being able to rent bikes right there. The pool is very nice, and the bed is also excellent. The kitchen is super complete and the water pressure compared to other places in Tulum is very good. I definitely recommend this place.

The place was beautiful and looked just like the pictures! The area is remote and on a dirt road approx 15-20 minutes from Tulum City which we were aware of! We enjoyed the peace and quiet. They have "door man" if you will in the building at all times for any building assistance. Jessy was very responsive!

Armanda's home, space, atmosphere, and environment were wonderful! Exactly what I was hoping for, and what I needed! The location is very private and secure, and feels plenty safe, and the surroundings are so beautiful! Armanda y Pedro have clearly put so much work, time, and money into their home and yard. It is very peaceful, with iguanas, happy singing birds, and plants and flowers. I adored it, and all the more, Armanda is a very kind, gracious, helpful host! There are scenic beaches and cenotes not very far, but It is the kind of place more for people who are looking for a meditative, calm, peaceful, quiet location. The accommodations are simple but plenty adequate. I bought groceries and made meals in the kitchen most of the time, and spent mornings outside with coffee and a book or journal. It was truly a lovely visit and experience. Armanda and Pedro are very pleasant and kind beautiful souls. Maybe it's not for everyone, but if you feel drawn to it, there's a reason!

The home was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—beautiful and welcoming. The only issue was an unpleasant odor coming from one of the bathrooms, which we discovered was due to the toilet brush. Once we identified the source, we placed the brush in the backyard, and the smell was no longer a problem. The home was clean, the instructions were clear, and the property itself was stunning—just steps away from the beach. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

Erik’s house was very spacious just as described! Erik was very attentive and always responded right away! My children enjoyed the pool during our stay! No problems during our stay!

We had a magical week at Adolfo’s place with our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is spectacular and the kids loved being able to play on the beach and jump in the pool. Early risers will love the sunrise view from the beach. The location itself is an amazing jumping off point to enjoy Akumal (great taco spots in town!), Tulum, and local cenotes and eco parks. We were a bit anxious about not having AC in the main living area but the breeze was beautiful and it allowed us to really embrace indoor/outdoor living. The caretaking staff are wonderful and very helpful - they helped us arrange for massages at the house and kept the property meticulously clean. We also took advantage of Chef Carlos’s services and are so happy we did. The house itself is very comfortable. Showing its age in places but we appreciated it being un-fussy - especially with young kids. The kitchen is well-appointed with dishes but you’ll need to bring your own basic cooking supplies.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The property has two pools perfect for relaxing. It’s conveniently located right outside downtown Tulum and the Zona Hotelera, surrounded by great restaurants. Highly recommend!”

The location and this property was so beautiful! I can’t believe how private the property felt, the outdoor space was amazing and the views really can’t be beat. We rented golf carts to get around and that was so much fun, definitely would recommend doing that! Scott was incredible, he was one of the most communicative hosts I’ve ever had! He checked in on us in person a few times and sent messages regularly to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if we had questions. He gave great tips and recommendations throughout our whole stay and really made the experience special. The whole area had a power outage due to some heavy rain for a day or so and he was completely on top of keeping in touch, sending updates, and doing extra things to keep us comfortable. We would 100% stay here again and recommend this home to anyone! Every part of our experience was really fantastic and we truly had an amazing time!

The house was nice and clean. But I feel like there was no one in the house before our stay. Because the house seemed like it hadn’t been aired out in about a week. The fridge must have been unplugged also. Because it took almost a day for it to get cold and keep our food cold. The pool also seemed like it was barely cleaned and maintained the day of our arrival. It was green until the pool chemicals worked a few days later and made it blue. The bedding and beds are somewhat outdated. And the towels and linens could be replaced also.

Awesome! Definitely the best place you can find in Playa del Carmen, the apartment felt like being at home, it has absolutely everything, the apartment and the luxury facilities, the great amenities, Olivia was very attentive and very kind, walking to 5th Avenue was a great walk, it's about 12 minutes, I will definitely return! The best place in Playacar is here!

We absolutely fell in love with this space, and Akumal. The jungle setting and view was stunning. We enjoyed walking across the street to the beach, playing in the waves and searching the tide pools for treasures and creatures. The kids loved the pool time, (all the pools). Casey thought of absolutely everything one would need to make a relaxing fun vacation with a well stocked and fully equipped condo. From beach chairs, and water socks, to snorkel gear. My personal favorite was the coffee bar and well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed making meals and grilling out in the common area while the kids enjoyed more pool time. Lastly, beds and linens. Absolute heaven. I’m going to be thinking about that bed for a long time. Thank you Casey for helping make our family vacation memorable and all your fantastic suggestions.

Great spot. They are well connected and hooked us up with local recs, driving service, and answer all questions immediately. Beautiful space. One local mentioned it was the one of the first builds and they don’t make them like this anymore. It was great.
