Amazing location, very convenient to all the main locations and downtown Reykjavik. Very cute, well designed home, had all the amenities needed (beds were super comfortable and location was quiet). Perfect amount of space for two friends traveling together. Would definitely stay again. Host was responsive and super helpful. Can’t say enough nice things!

Lloyd and Raggi’s apartment is a gem! Fully equipped, quiet street, comfy bed, secure and beautiful neighborhood. It was a short walk to central Reykjavik shopping, restaurants and historic sites. This property is great for a couple. Note that there are some stairs to from the street door to the apartment door. We highly recommend this property for staying in Reykjavik.

My husband and I had a great stay here. The place was very comfortable and we appreciated having a washer and a well equipped kitchen. Being close to grocery stores was great and the area is very walkable. We did rent a car to go exploring and was able to park right in front of the airbnb. My favourite was the view of the mountain from the window! Thanks for a great stay :)

Perfect apartment for our family of four, including two college-aged kids. The location was excellent - it was very easy to navigate the neighborhood’s streets in our rental car, parking was a breeze and just steps away from the apartment, and we could easily walk to all the shop’s & restaurants in the city’s central district. We could not have loved it more! We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Reykjavik (we are already planning a return)! Highly recommend!

Great spot near the heart of the city. Easy to get to and easier to plan from. There are restaurants, bars and cafes nearby as well as multiple shops. Room was great. Shower was hot and bed was clean.

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

Jon was a great host! Really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. We were just 2-3 blocks from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Solla welcomed us, oriented us to our tastefully decorated roomy quarters and answered questions .She had delicious homemade crackers and crowberry jam waiting. unfortunately our stay was way too brief. perfect accommodation, location and hosts. thank you, Solla and Gunnar for your hospitality. We are already planning our return.

Amazing place to stay

Location was perfect for sightseeing near and far. The airbnb was very comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Trausti was a great host. I would highly recommend this place.

Our 4 night stay in Larus’ Lakefront Villa & nearby attractions of the Golden Circle were one of the highlights of our trip-we highly recommend! His home is spectacular in every way, including a hot tub, sauna, a large living room/gathering space w/well appointed kitchen. Directly on a lake, without others in close proximity, it’s ideal for those that want to experience the splendor of this part of Iceland more privately. As a host, Larus goes above & beyond! We had brought some equipment to fish the river 100 yards away, but not small enough tackle. When we emailed him asking location of a tackle shop, after returning from a daily activity, we were surprised & delighted to find 2 more rods & 2 new trays of tackle appropriate for the trout in the river; giving 4 of our group the chance to do some fishing in Iceland. Ingibjorn was a wonderful, caring host, that spent quality time with us, tour us through the Barnes to meet all the baby cows and animals, and made us really feel at home. It is a little challenging to get to the location, but you will be so glad you did. It is so peaceful out here in the country on this farm, the animals and horses are lovely, gorgeous view over the valley and the river channels is breathtaking. The home was very clean, with beautiful hardwood floors, and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. Five stars. Thank you so much for everything Ingibjorn! Loved Karen’s place and Karen was very responsive with my questions and provided helpful solutions. Loved the area and location. Got all my steps in each day. Loved Iceland in general and will be going back. Wasn’t prepared for the daylight but worked with it.

Welcoming and cosy place, as soon as we arrived we found everything very clean and tidy, kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare something to eat, very clean bathroom, room equipped with Smart TV and vacuum cleaner. The owner of the house is always available for any eventuality. If I were to return to Iceland I would gladly book another stay with him.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable with a lovely view of the little harbor nearby. It provided my son and I with a base to explore many of Iceland's attractions using our car rental. Getting into the city takes about 12 minutes by car and around 45 minute by bus. We opted to cook at home since there's not a lot of restaurants nearby. Generally speaking this was a fantastic place to stay and made our whole week in Iceland stress free and relaxing. The apartment also has great water pressure and lots of warm water!

Stayed in Iceland for a week and was a great place to stay! Host was very responsive, and helpful when needed. He provided very helpful instructions and recommendations for the stay. The place was clean and as described! The location was close to the city and many destinations while still being in a peaceful quieter part of town. Would stay here again if I was to travel here again!

Nicely designed apartment located in the downtown of the city.

The flat was lovely, amazing view, and perfectly situated close to everything. Linda was a good host, met us on our schedule and was very welcoming!

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

If Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons ever designed, furnished and located an apartment, then this is it. Great for family, market place next door should you need it, fantastic (top end) restaurants all around, coffee shops…and everything in short walking distance. It was so well kept and clean, felt like a high end resort. Really cool place and host who clearly cared about his guests’ experience. Reachable, proactive when needed, yet respectful of privacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, or any other of his locations, he truly is a class act super host. Highly recommended.
