But: If you are looking for comfort, perfection or a modern, clean and functional place to stay, you will be disappointed here and should therefore NOT read on (there are more suitable offers for this). . The cottage was completely newly renovated 2 years ago and is located in idyllic Schnürpflingen. Very private with separate entrance. A small terrace is located behind the cottage. There is a small swimming lake nearby and large forests with many forest and hiking trails. A bakery and a beverage market are nearby and within walking distance. The closest supermarket is 3 km away.

We spent 5 nights with our family in Robert's beautiful house. The house is right on the lake and has exceeded our expectations from the location. We were able to enjoy the sunset on the terrace in the evening. Communication was excellent, a children's travel cot for our one-year-old granddaughter was immediately provided. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Albert is a very friendly and accommodating host, he even picked me up from the train station and immediately gave me (several) tips on where I could rent a bike ;-) Furthermore, there was a coffee machine and a tea maker in the hallway for the guests. The house is situated in a very idyllic and beautiful quiet location. The city center is a few minutes' walk, by bus or, as in my case, by bike, in a few minutes. I was able to relax immediately and felt very comfortable right away. The extensive media library offers something for everyone, whether you want to chill out or bridge rainy days. I highly recommend this place ;-)

Perfect place for a lake-side holiday. We stayed 3+ weeks, Meinolf‘s Place had everything we needed. We did encountered an issue with the clothes dryer. Meinolf immediately took action to replace it with a new one. Very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The house and furnishings are somewhat dated, but if you’re not looking for high-end luxury, you can feel right at home.

Very friendly hosts, the apartment is beautiful as shown in the pictures. Everything super clean and very nicely decorated. Everything is within walking distance, Lake Ammersee is only a few minutes walking distance away. A beautiful area. We will be happy to come back sometime. I highly recommend this place.

Sigurd home is a nice place to stay for a big family. The house is fully furnished. Space are big enough for 7 persons. It is placed in a wonderful but quiet and silent setting, very close to the lake beach and about 25 min to Monaco. The outside garden is perfect for playing and eating all together. Sigurd was always easily reachable and available for any doubt. We strongly recommend the house for family with kids and for groups looking for a comfortable place to stay, in a strategic position to visit Monaco and Bavaria without suffering the "big city"confusion.

We wanted to get to know the region of Ammerland and Starnberg See during our stay, with Anke’s support we definitely feel very much at home there and look forward to be back sometime soon.
