A breathtaking view. Impeccable cleanliness. Very good maintenance service (change sheets and towels every 3 days). John is very helpful and answers all questions. Great welcome. It's just missing a BBQ and a few more umbrellas. Even in the middle of summer there is fresh air (because of the altitude), it's very nice.

Clean, spacious, easy parking (we left the vehicle just below) and with a huge balcony overlooking the sea from its right. We visited it in March so we couldn't enjoy the extra amenities offered during the warm months without removing anything from the experience. Its large living room over the supervision of Pythia is ideal for a large group and its rooms, large and bright, for quiet rest. The service was immediate in everything we needed and the welcome definition of hospitality. Thank you for everything, Mr. Panayiotis, and I will see you again.

We really enjoyed the place. The view is fantastic, everything was extremely well maintained and clean. The host was very friendly and even accompanied us to the accommodation. The accommodation is very high up on the mountain, so you definitely need a car.

Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Blue! My family spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property & it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view across the pool & the most amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets The villa itself was immaculate & thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to pool towels, wifi & BBQ. The layout was spacious & comfortable, plus friendly cleaner every few days We all enjoyed the great pool Our hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive & attentive, always just a message away & helped with local recommendations. Their hospitality was spot on. Meeting us on arrival to direct us to the villa was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better villa or base to explore Kefalonia. Amanda's house is very convenient for relaxing with a family especially with children; The sea is right in front, the area is very quite and relaxing and you can stroll around the village. The house is very well equipped, there where even lots of kids toys that kept our kids busy and excited! There are some cafes and restaurants in the area and this is also very convenient. Amanda was very responsive, giving clear instructions and being very helpful. I totally recomment visiting the only thing you should take into consideration is the stairs, there is a protective nest but if you have young children you might want to take this into consideration! Thank you for hosting us.

This house was one of the few properties in Airbnb where you get more then the pictures. The house was incredible and we loved it. The patio offers the chance for an outside breakfast like we did every morning, it has a view towards Lefkada town and offers shade in sunny days. The interior was amazing, we loved the living room and the balcony from 1st floor. We would defenetly recommend and book this house in the future. Thank you!

Lovely peaceful airbnb, very close to a small beach, and a 10mn walk into the town. Perfect for families. The house itself was very clean, and the beds very comfy. Communication with the host was very clear, we had an issue setting up the baby bed and the host came to help. The only downsides were that they had already turned off the jaccuzi (we booked for end of september and on the listing it says the jacuzzi is open that month), and there was not as many child amenities as listed. Better to check with the host when booking related to the above points.

This house was perfect for us. In the countryside, very peaceful, a few minutes drive from the village and the beach. We could see the stars at night, we collected figs and tomatoes from the garden, we were surrounded by cute kittens. Maria came to meet us on the first night. she explained that the first time it is a bit tricky, but then it is easy to find the place. And it was just like she said. The beach is 10 minutes drive on a gravelled road, can be done with an opel corsa, no problem. There are cows, sheep, pigs and even peacocks at the neighbours- lots of entertainment for our 3 years old daughter. The olive oil of their own production as well as the wine are delicious (Italian foodies here!) The sunset over the bay is wonderful and breakfast on the terrace a real treat. While we were there the island was hit by a storm so we didn’t get to enjoy the place to its full potential. However, we think that there is all you need to be happy and a bit more.

the apartment is located in a small and very beautiful village. it has an excellent view above the village and the sea. beautiful sunsets and very cozy mornings. everything was nice and clean. the nearby beaches are so stunning, you can not imagine!!!! thank you <3

The stone house is well renovated and feels very authentic. There's big open space with lots of greenery, including two patios. Makryotika's central position makes it a good base to explore the whole island, with dramatic cliffs and beaches on the west coast a 20-30 min drive away. Mirto was very helpful and proactive and welcomed us personally despite the late night arrival. We stayed 4 nights and had everything needed for a proper vacation.

Beautiful old stone house that has been in Eleni’s family for generations. Really well maintained with everything we needed. Beautiful view over the water to Ithaca. We made short drives and walks to local beaches, local village to eat (great supermarket there) and trip to Assos and Ficardo. Loved it.

We had a magical stay at Anna’s cottage and fell in love with Kefalonia here. Sitting on the terrace with the wonderful views out to Ithaca and beyond was a highlight with our stay here. The apartment is very spacious, with great facilities. The terrace is private to the cottage and is accessed straight from the kitchen with the wonderful views. This was such a bonus. We will definitely be back!

Wow! This place is truly magical. Breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool terrace, spacious & comfortable interiors- All located in a beautiful village in the hills, conveniently located 10 mins drive from stunning beaches. Athina was so helpful with local knowledge & places to see, we had a superb time as a family of 8. She left a welcome pack of local fruit & veg aswell as honey, jam & wine, cheeses & butter. We felt so welcome and at home. There’s a mini market 5 mins walk away with all the basics & larger shops in small towns in 15 mins drive. Delicious & friendly restaurants & tavernas within 15 mins. The area is easy to drive around. Top 3 hot spots: Vouti beach/ Taverna, Assos & Fteri beach on the water taxi. My 10 year old loved feeding the village cats & seeing the goats walk past with their bells. Great places to swim, snorkel & jump off rocks - The water is the most turquoise I have ever seen! Forever memories made. This house, Kefalonia & Nifi has stolen our hearts.

I recently stayed at this charming ecological house with three friends, and we had a wonderful time! The beautiful and clean property offers a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in absolute quiet. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful, providing great recommendations for nearby beaches and restaurants, and helping us with our car problems. For guests who enjoy cooking, I would suggest bringing a sharp knife and reaching out to owners to learn details of the kitchen equipment and be aware that the stove and oven use gas. Keep in mind that the road that leads to the house from the main road is very steep at times with sharp turns and rough surfaces, so it takes a bit of care to drive up, if you are not an experienced driver. In case you want to go on foot, you will need 30 minutes to get down to the village, and a bit more to get back :) Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful stay!

Makis and his family were such kind hosts who made us feel so at ease and welcomed for our stay! The idyllic cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and self-sufficient, with a wonderful patio space under the grape vines where we enjoyed sitting in the shade with our meals. The location is quiet with lots of birdsong and the friendly sounds of the chickens and geese from across the yard. If you choose to stay at this delightful Airbnb you will receive unmatched warmth and hospitality from a wonderful family on a marvellous island!

Eleni's house is basically the upper level of the house. Eleni lives downstairs, she is a lovely, generous woman, who took care of everything for us, spoiled the children with chocolate and us with the dish that just cooked in the kitchen. We loved her very much. The house is very clean and even when ants came to visit Eleni took care of it immediately and it didn't bother us to enjoy this lovely place. For a descent house with access to the sea, or a deep area with a ladder or a cute little beach.. we enjoyed both very much. In the morning the sea is calm and beautiful and you can see sea turtles that live there always. In the nearby village there is not too much and the nearest city is 13 minutes away.. We had a very fun 4 nights and would love to stay again.

Had the most amazing holiday here. Very restful with beautiful views from the balcony. Peace and quiet with just a couple of local bar/cafes and a well stocked supermarket. Very well equipped with everything we needed. Effie was almost instant with her responding usually within ten minutes when we contacted her. We had a lovely stay at Anna Maria’s pretty little place! It was well kitted out and comfortable, a great location for shops and restaurants and loads of beautiful beaches nearby. Definitely recommend!

Georges place is a great place to stay to explore the area! It’s a newly built house with great design and all the amenities you would want. We visited in winter and the fireplace heated the whole house pretty quick. There are good restaurants within 2km driving distance and the surroundings of the house were so peaceful. Communication with George was easy and instant, we definitely recommend staying!

Enchanting house. Completely private. Well equipped and everything worked. Comfortable beds and well equiped kitchen. Very good communication with the host. Despite a long unpaved road, easily accessible. Restaurant and shopping can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The house was clean and equipped with welcome greetings. Wonderful night sky. We would book again.

Incredible location, five minutes walk from a beautiful beach. Also tavernas a few minutes walk away. Cottage is idyllic and very charming. Owner very generous with what she leaves in fridge and daughter excellent with communication.

Large and spacious accommodation, almost refurbished. Very welcoming and very available hosts, a flowery and very quiet environment close to the center and the sea (beach and restaurants). A great place to stay on the Ambra Gulf.
