Chalet vacation rentals in Adirondack Mountains

Nicholas and Jenna are great hosts! We were beyond lucky that they shared their home with us! The views were great, so great that we eloped here! Cute cozy home pushed off the road with a beautiful view off the back deck! We would love to back to visit!

It was nice staying at this Chalet. It felt home, cozy, serene and very private. Eventhough there are lots of cameras around the property but we felt safe for that. I didn't find the cameras are hampering our privacy. Only concern is you need to climb to the ladder to get into the Common Space two. So if you are big group of people then I would say that place is good for any teen boys or girls or who is athletic to climb up and down to the common space. We didn't need to use that area since we were a small group of people and we enjoyed our stay.

A hiker’s dream. The perfect reprieve nestled in the heart of Saranac lake. Joanne’s cabin was the perfect location to tackle the Saranac 6 Ultra hiking challenge. With 6 mountains across 5 different locations in saranac lake, we were able to stop at the cabin 2 times to change clothes, eat & restock supplies. The blackout curtains in the bedrooms were also greatly appreciated as we were able to go to bed very early the day before for a 1:30 am wake up. The house was very clean and cute. The laundry room was convenient to wash dirty clothes. The showers were glorious after 17 hours of hiking. Joanne was a kind & responsive host. I would stay here again with my family or friends.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at Sierra’s house, and we just love it! It’s comfortable, beautiful, Waitsfield is lovely, and we couldn’t have asked for anything else!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

We (2 parents, 2 kids, one grandparent) had a nice stay. everything worked well, and was functional and we'll set up. The one thought we want to share is that the house is pretty small. We were fine with the space, but it's definitely not as spacious as it appears in the photos. And they didn't want you to bring skis or boots into the house, which is totally understandable, but it would be good to have known that in advance.

What a beautiful home! We immediately felt at home. Any questions we had were answered in a wonderful book that Cynthia had put together, complete with suggestions of places and activities. We were close to everything! Thanks again, Cynthia!

The place is amazing. They spent a ton of time decorating and creating a true getaway in the Adirondacks. The theme was clear. It felt like a retreat, and it was well done in every aspect. They have everything. The game room was great, with many towels and washcloths. Every single light fixture was labeled. They paid attention to so many details and did it right! It was truly amazing. Just know the service isn't the best, as it gives a true cabin in the woods vibe. Contrary to their letter, we found the wifi to be fine (played a few online games and my computer worked fine). We had 10 people, and we fit comfortably and truly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend if you are looking for some quiet, serene time in the woods with great amenities (TV, wifi, board games, etc.)

The game room with a billiard table, ping pong table and arcade machine were a bonus on our rainy stay/family getaway. It ended up being a very cold Memorial Day Weekend, however, an escape to the hot tub helped us through the weekend. This is a wonderful place to stay no matter what the weather is. The bedrooms are large, and the beds are very comfortable. The home is well decorated with Adirondack charm. I would definitely stay here again!

We love this place. We had such a great experience last year that we had to come back. The house has everything you need to have a good time. The living room is so big that you can have a large group and not feel on top of each other. There's a pool table, foosball table and a hot tub, What else do you need! I definitely would recommend this house. Thanks again Dave for an awesome time. We are looking forward to next year!!

We loved this property! It was wonderful to fit so many friends and family in one beautiful place! We found it very accommodating, clean, spacious and everything you need for a long or short stay in a beautiful area. The hosts were super helpful and communicated easily! We loved our stay and made wonderful memories there! ❤️

We had a wonderful visit with our family. The home is just as pictured on the website. We had everything we needed to cook good meals and relax together. The setting is beautiful. We enjoyed the views driving around the area. We were too early in the summer to do any water activities safely. We had some great walks in Molly Stark State Park and on the Valley Trail recommended by Danielle and Ben. Note there is little to no cell service at the site of the home. WiFi access was very stable. Cell service improves in town.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful mountainside resort. The Lodge is peaceful, serene and incredibly relaxing—perfect for a weekend getaway. The home had plenty of space for our family, with comfortable beds that made for restful nights and enough space to have privacy. We especially loved the chef’s kitchen—it was fully equipped and a joy to cook in as a family. The outdoor space was fantastic, offering plenty of room to unwind and have fun together. We stayed here to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation, and it was the perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. Michelle was an amazing host—responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property and are planning our return visit soon!

We adored our stay! It was perfect for our group. The sauna and hot tub were a massive hit. The hosts are wonderful. On a stormy night we lost power and Josh quickly reached out to check-in give us power company updates and let us know the generator would do its thing which it did beautifully. Would love to come back with my family and enjoy further relaxing and peaceful moments together in the mountains!

We really enjoyed our stay; the house was ideally situated in a private, wooded area and yet just a few minutes drive into Manchester. The views from the house were spectacular. The house had a cozy mountain chalet feel and yet equipped with a very modern kitchen. We took advantage of both the fire pit and the hot tub.

the house is a beautiful space with lots of room! all of the amenities the house offers makes it a great a comfortable place to come home to after skiing/snowboarding at the local mountains that Jay and Wilmington have to offer. the house is advertised as "minutes away" from these mountains which is a little stretch. from the house it is about a 30 min drive to either Jay peak or Whiteface. overall we loved our stay and enjoyed a great trip and made a lot of great memories.

We had a great time at the Chalet, and all the extra touches were appreciated. Plenty of towels, available firewood, kcups for coffee and many other extra touches. We did a lot of cooking, and kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location. When not enjoying Lake Sacandaga, Saratoga and Lake George are also close by to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Roost. The home is clean, comfortable, spacious, and extremely well-stocked. Rarely is an Airbnb kitchen this well-equipped! Cynthia was super responsive and helpful, and the home is convenient to Gore - about 25-30 minutes. We loved our stay and hope to return!

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

Was a beautiful cottage, nice and peaceful with lots to do with the hot tub and accessible boats/paddle boards. Highly recommend!

Great stay!! The house is in a perfect location. The access to the lake and view of the mountains from the deck or hot tub is a great escape. Yet you are only a few minutes from town with access to anything you may need for groceries or a night out.
