Recently updated property with renovations matching the photos. They also update two Victorian houses in the front of the property that were updated and used as rooms. Price was great and mostly everything matched the photos on the site and google. For the price it was a great stay.

We loved our stay at the Palmer House. The room was clean and had all of the amenities listed. There were many restaurants in the area and lots of shopping nearby. It was the perfect room for our needs for a weekend in Manchester. We would definitely stay here again.

The Palmer House Resort was a great place to stay for my ski weekend in southern VT. We drove about 20 minutes each to Magic Mountain one day and Stratton the next, and while I wouldn't call this a luxury resort, it was a fantastic alternative to staying at a ski resort in terms of value. The staff were very polite and accommodating, the rooms were clean and as advertised, and we enjoyed being within walking distance to bars and restaurants in Manchester. We were also pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast. I'd happily stay here again.

It was truly awesome to see a well done renovation of a 1950’s motel. The host and reception folks were outstanding. We had fun playing golf and sitting around the fire pit. Loved the place

The room was gorgeous. We walked down to the lake to go fishing the first evening. I didnt realize we couldn't go out kayaking at sunset but we did go the next day. It had been raining and the kayaks were filled with water but it was the first time my girlfriend went kayaking and she had a blast! My only real complaint was that the bed was very broken. You could hear and feel all the broken springs. It was very uncomfortable. Everything else was great!

Planned this trip as a last minute getaway for my daughter’s spring vacation. We could not have been happier. Beautiful, private, log cabin with an amazing view, in room jacuzzi tub and everything you need to feel like you’re in a home away from home. There is no question we will be back and staying in this room again and again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation experience!

Clean, cozy, comfy place. And friendly staff. Minutes walk to most of everything in downtown Lake George. Lovely little sliver of beach with a view too. Robert was responsive and accommodating. Great value!

Me and my spouse came here for our anniversary getaway let me just say how awesome Robert’s place is. Looks just like the pictures and was so cozy, felt like we were in a private cabin in the woods somewhere. We especially loved the fireplace in the living room, only thing I would recommend is some black out curtains as the curtains a bit see through for privacy and also maybe a little more dusting in certain areas such as the ceiling fan and light fixtures. Other than that place was super clean and very comfortable. Robert was fast and responsive to us and very accommodating. Also his place is one of the only places in Lake George to have the pool and jacuzzi open this time of the year which was a nice touch. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! This spot was such a gem - we will definitely be back! We needed a spot overnight to sleep, but wish we had more time to explore the hikes and amenities. We had a cabin to ourselves, which was perfect and very cozy. The cabin is part of the Jiminy Peak resort- the check-in is at the Country Inn!

The condo was spacious, perfectly located close to the trail for ski in/out access and was clean. It was great to be able to use the amenities of the resort (pool/hot tub). Fun Zone was so fun for the kids and just a very short drive from the condo. There is a shuttle, but we didn't need to use it during our stay. We'd love to come back in the Summer to hike, swim and experience the outdoor water slide! Thanks for a great stay!

This was our first time booking thru Airbnb and Christian was responsive to our questions in a timely manner. The condo unit that we received at Smugglers Notch Resort was probably one of the nicest units in the whole place. It was immaculately clean and quite new and modern. It was honestly nicer than any pictures online. It was also well stocked and perfect for our group. The only drawback was that we did not know what unit we were getting until we checked in, so planning about ski in ski out or shuttle riding was completely up in the air. But, in the end, that didn't matter because it was so nice. The one facilities issue we had with the heat(too much of it), was quickly addressed by the maintenance team at Smuggs. The resort itself is lacking some of the amenities of a higher end ski resorts but it has a safe, family friendly vibe, we were comfortable letting our group of kids go solo on the shuttles and on the mountain. The shuttle service by the way is excellent, you rarely wait more than a few minutes for a shuttle. We were in the North Hill community so we had special shuttle privileges, they would take us anymore we wanted on the resort. We also had special access to indoor and outdoor pools that only the North Hill has access to. It was an excellent property for an great rate.

The place was excellent. It was a little confusing at first because you're actually communicating with a rental agency instead of someone named Amy. The unit you actually receive is not necessarily going to be the one they advertise in the listing since there are multiple condos at the resort and they likely own it as a timeshare. We ended up getting put into a unit that was much bigger and much nicer than the one in the listing, so that was a pleasant surprise. According to other reviews it seems like some people have gotten downgraded, so maybe we got lucky. I can understand why some people would be put off by the process with this rental as communicating with the agency was unique from other Airbnbs I've rented. However, my personal experience was excellent and they were quick to respond with any questions. The resort itself is beautiful and would definitely recommend visiting!

Amy was very communicative, the place was nice and check-in went smoothly. It’s similar to booking a condo through any ski resort/lodge except this is booked through Airbnb. You check in at the welcome area with a front desk which was super easy. It’s a great location for skiing, some units are ski in ski out, ours wasn’t but it was easy to call the shuttle for mountain access or just walk. Our unit was comfortable and the fireplace was cozy, overall enjoyed our stay!

Everything during our stay was great. The resort staff were delightful and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. One thing that would help is if the listing was more clear about who Amy is and how this works. Amy works for a company that, as far as I understand it, helps people rent out their timeshares. So Amy does not own a condo at Smugglers Notch and even the "owner" owns a timeshare not a specific property. So you don't know exactly what condo you'll be in until you're there. I think some of the negative reviews of this host on other listings were from situations caused because they didn't know what to tell the resort when they got there. Thankfully I did a lot of digging ahead of time and contacted the resort directly to ensure our reservation and Amy was very clear with us as to how to check in. We had no problems and a wonderful trip!
