Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

Adirondack getaway w/trails, hot tub and sauna

My house is tucked in the woods. I'm the last house on my road that is a dead end. With very few neighbors it is a very private location in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. I'm only 20 min from lake placid and Keene and 10 min from whiteface mountain. I'm 10 min lake Everest and and the Ausable. 20 min from mirror lake. Right out the back door there is hiking , skiing, snow shoes trails. There are 2 peaks that can be reached out my front door, Clarke mtn and Hamlin mtn.

SilverBear Cabin, 15 min from Whiteface &ski jumps

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors! A great year round rental :)
