Our property is a peaceful oasis surrounded by trees and wildlife. It’s the perfect getaway from the bustling city life. Charming apartment located on an exquisite equestrian estate. Drive up the 1/4 mile winding drive way lined with 100 year old camellias and azaleas to relaxation station. For those looking to explore nature there are trails cut out on the side and two ponds if you choose to walk around. There is also a creek that wraps the back half of this tranquil property. If you want to get out we are only 12-15 minutes away from downtown Covington. Where you can shop, eat, bike, & explore the city.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Just 35 miles North of New Orleans nestled just minutes away from downtown Covington and all the Northshore has to offer. Live music, fine dining, cycling and shopping are just a few of the many things to do. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further. Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

Little lodge

The Little Lodge is located on a 7 acre gated estate in a wooded bedroom community south of the Village of Folsom. The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

Over the Moon Farm, Relaxing with the Horses

Enjoy the picturesque view at Over the Moon Farm, a bustling horse farm situated in the middle of 30 acres in Covington, LA north of New Orleans. A short drive from the farm will take you to Abita Springs, a quaint town with restaurants and the Abita Brewery, Old Covington filled with local shops and restaurants and several horse facilities nearby. Spend the day touring in New Orleans and unwind in the evenings relaxing on one of two porches overlooking horses grazing in the pasture.

Sunhillow Farm Getaway

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Cozy Cottage and SEPARATE guest house in the country near Abita Brewery, wineries, Lake Ponchartrain, an hour away from New Orleans. This private property has a covered pavilion, screened-in porch, deck and a nice walking area in the woods to see foliage and birds. Great place to get away from it all. Ample parking. Nice set up for guests who need two separate areas. Kitchen has all you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or something simple to enjoy on the deck or screen porch.
