The property has 3 bedrooms on the first floor and a small half bath, and on the ground floor, there is a small bedroom, a TV room, and a dining room, with the option of additional sleeping space in the TV room. The home has a private south-facing garden with morning and afternoon sun and a common courtyard where the morning sun can also be enjoyed. From inside the dining room you can see the beautiful sunset and the view of the fields.

The house is secluded and with a great view of Listed, the Baltic Sea and Christians Ø. There is underfloor heating on both floors, and the house is suitable for winter stays. The house is hypoallergenic and no pets allowed. The stay does not include bed linens, towels, etc., but these can be ordered well in advance for DKK 200 per person.

The house is small and rustic. Simply decorated and contains all the basics for a good vacation. It is 5 km to Rønne and 4 km to Hasle, and there are bus connections close by and free parking.

Balkahytten is located 150 meters from Bornholm's finest beach: Balka Strand with the most beautiful morning sun. Less than 2 km along the beach is Snogebæk with lots of cafes, restaurants, a jetty and supermarket. About 3 km the other way along the coast is Nexø, Bornholm's second largest town, which has plenty of shopping, clothing stores and lovely cafes and restaurants overlooking the harbor. 200 meters from the house there is a bike rental and bus stop, so you can easily get around the island.

Our unique 100m2 summerhouse was designed by a Danish/Norwegian architect couple and was built in 2023. The historic stone fence beautifully frames the house and the view of the crashing waves of the Baltic Sea, providing stunning scenery from the common areas. The house has an open floor plan with high ceilings filled with natural light. It is divided into a bedroom wing and a common area, and we've decorated it simply with natural materials to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
