Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Zurich

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

We had an overall good experience during our stay. The location was great, and the cutlery/kitchen amenities were well-equipped. However, there were a few issues that affected our comfort: • Our group was given three separate rooms on three different floors, which made it less convenient to stay connected. • The wooden flooring throughout was quite noisy, especially at night when people were walking above or below. • One washroom only had a curtain, which compromised privacy. • Another washroom couldn’t be locked from the inside, which was a concern for us. With a few improvements in layout and bathroom privacy, this could be an excellent place to stay.

We had a wonderful time in the Bijouhaus (2 adults, 4 children). The Bijouhaus was clean, fresh, bright and immediately created a feel-good atmosphere for us. Many leisure activities are quickly and easily accessible by car. The best strawberries of all time are available in the farm shop (5 minutes' walking distance) :) Andrea responded quickly and personally to any concerns or questions. Thank you for the wonderful time, we highly recommend the Bijouhaus...

If you’re looking for a place to stay that is private and peaceful but easy to access hotspots and hiking, look no further! 10/10 would recommend!!

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. It is very comfortable, decorated with love and great taste. Everything is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week-long stay as a small family. Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. It's beautiful little sheep, they'll love it. We walked in the village and in the forest around, very nice. At night we came across small deer 🥰 on the road. Thanks Eva and Yves

We loved our stay! The home was perfect for a family with young children. The location was so close to so many family friendly outings. We loved going to the farm and walking to the lake. My kids enjoyed all the toys in the house. Would absolutely stay again with my family.

Had a pleasant stay at Mai & Thomas's. The apartment was very clean with a welcome worthy of the biggest hotels (towels on the bed in the shape of swans, fresh flowers, even the folding of the toilet paper) small details that make the difference. At all times, they were concerned about our comfort and met all my expectations. The bedding is amazing, I had very restful nights. The cleanliness of the apartment struck me, everything was great. This is one of the few apartments where I felt so comfortable. Thank you so much for this experience!

We absolutely loved staying at Monika’s place. It’s in the perfect location and close to everything you could want in Zurich while also being quiet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anybody who is there!

Mateusz was very reactive on our interactions. The loft was clean, and it was just as described. Bed is confy. Located Not far from old town, can easily walk and next to main train station.

Perfectly located to get to an event at Letzigrund. Everything is spotless and the instructions for accessing it are very clear. The only small downside is access to parking when you come by car. Currently, there is a lot of work in the neighborhood and very few places available. Letzipark 24-hour public parking is extremely expensive.

Exceptional Hospitality by Jerry (better than many luxury hotel chains around the world). I run an online business for many years now and having travelled around and stayed in both airbnbs as well as hotels (4 and 5 stars), the stay at Jerry’s was flawless. The place is perfect for remote workers like myself with hi speed internet, quiet, clean and sophisticated, and well located with stores, gyms, and food outlets right around the corner, including a mall right behind, while having the bus nearby for a straight and quick path to District 1, plus being within short walking distance to Triemli where you can hike up the tallest mountain in Zurich that has an upscale restaurant, in addition to casual dining, at the Top of Zürich. We had a wonderful stay with Jaybee! He was incredibly accommodating, especially with our early check-in request, which we really appreciated since we had a lot of luggage. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the 14 line tram, making it easy to get around. While the studio is compact, it was comfortable and well-suited for two people.

Amazing place to stay! Close to several restaurants, transit, grocery store, and mall. Beautiful interior and design. This was a quiet and peaceful spot. Olga was great with details and instructions which was quite helpful for our stay. Would definitely stay again when visiting!

This was a wonderful unit. Great location. Clean. “Kitchen” was small, but we ate out because there were so many restaurants nearby. Please note for English translation, the unit is on the 4th floor. We figured that detail out from the other translations.

If you are reading the reviews look no further. This property is a gem! Well appointed, gracious hosts…all in a tranquil setting. The pictures do not capture the exquisite beauty of the property. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The blackout curtains and shades were perfect for a peaceful sleep. We especially liked the outdoor seating options, fire pit and beautiful spa pool. The location allowed us to easily explore Rhine Falls, Zurich and Schaffhausen. Easy access to stores and restaurants. It was the perfect setting to recover from jet lag and prepare for 3 weeks in Switzerland. Verena and Rudi live on the property and gave us complete privacy and yet were available for any questions or needs. I highly recommend this property

Lovely stay with Malonda. Everything was clean and tidy, everything we needed for our stay. Malonda was very helpful and made us some delicious food. Would recommend.

We had a great stay with Elmar and Rita. Easy to find from Zurich central, walkable if you wanted and easy with the tram. Beds were super comfy, which was most welcome after a long travel. Had a great time in Zurich.

Had a very nice stay at Karin's place! It's a cozy apartment in a very quiet environment. There are also supermarkets in the area and good connections for public transport. Karin also responded immediately to messages and was very helpful. The clear plus for me was the opportunity to check in earlier and the beautiful cat Luka, which I would have seen more often if the weather had been better.
