Vacation rentals with a pool in Zanzibar

Edwin the site manager was the best person we met since arriving to Zanzibar. A true gentleman and extremely genuine which can be hard at times to find when traveling. He felt like a friend and was the best host we have had through Airbnb. Would book again!

Our stay at the villa was perfect, we enjoyed all the peace and quiet that the villa offers. Everything you need is within walking distance (beach, restaurants, bar, etc.), where you are greeted warmly by the locals every time, as if you have been living there for years. This is a little gem, hidden in a local area. Highly recommended.

Stayed 9 nights with my husband (June 2025). Great communication. Got collected at the airport by Suileman (sorry if spelling is wrong!)..we had a hire car so husband followed us behind..would be very hard to find otherwise. We were greeted by Said and Josephine with fresh coconuts... the house is just like the photos. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful gardens and clean pool with incredible views. Incredibly clean..bedrooms were gorgeous as was the bathrooms. Everything you may need was included. Staff were so helpful. Said took my husband out to show us where to buy bread. There are 2 local supermarkets...very expensive and mostly sold UK products! Air-conditioning upstairs but not down..I was incredibly hot. There are fans but still humid and hot. All in all..a fantastic holiday. The beach by villa isn't the best..very rocky..but beautiful views from patio area. Watch out for bugs and lizards.. but that's Africa! A truly memorable holiday. We will return one day. Easy 5 stars.

My stay at this beautiful property in Zanzibar was incredible. The house is truly a dream—spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. There is a very special feature in this property that is a private access to the ocean. It gives you your own slice of paradise. The house is wonderfully private, making it ideal for a peaceful retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore Zanzibar’s many attractions. The host is exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Her warmth, attention to detail, and local tips made the experience unforgettable. Wow I don’t even know where to start! This was truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in Zanzibar. As an Airbnb property this one completely exceeded my expectations. It offers amazing value for money.I had such a peaceful time watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the waves. As for the kids words can’t even describe it they had the time of their lives, especially enjoying the infinity pool. I only wish we had booked a longer stay, but unfortunately, it was time to head home. I will definitely be coming back to this home away from home. Having visited Zanzibar several times, I can confidently say that it’s hard to find a place like this near town with full AC, reliable WiFi, fully equipped kitchen. We even made lovely breakfasts for the kids. Bonus: it’s just 5 mins from the airport and only 15 mins to Stone Town. Truly worth every penny.And as for Mohammed what a kind gentleman. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I recommend this

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

Great place to live, very beautiful area, big pool, and delicious coffee in the recreation area

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Our stay here was perfect- quiet and peaceful and safe - beautiful location easy walk to beach and restaurants- breakfast was always very good (could use a little variety/ but very good!!)

Really lovely apartment with wonderful outside space and air conditioned en suite bedrooms. I loved being able to nip to the beach for my early morning swim and then come back to relax in the pool which, although it's small, was great for cooling off. We managed to have all 4 of us (2 adults plus 2 full sized teens) in at once. Sonia was really welcoming and very helpful, always responding quickly to queries both before and during our stay. She also gave us handy info about local restaurants who we could message and have deliver to the apartment which was perfect for us. Eating on the terrace every night was great. All in all a lovely week in a beautiful apartment with a great host. Thank you
