Lovely space to stay in. Clean and comfortable and picturesque location.

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

it is a cozy beautiful place, with nice nature around the cottage and yet close to all facilities. relaxed and very friendly host and hostess. At least I didn't feel like going home.

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lunas place. Zandvoort and Amsterdam are close by and instructions to get there are provided. the place is cozy with really comfortable beds/Sofa. the short distance to the beach is really cool, as well as the look out of the living room window. Shelly (Lunas mother) was very welcoming and always reachable. I would come back any time.

Great place as described and in the photos. The view of the sea is simply fantastic. It was just a short trip, but it felt like a longer vacation. We'd love to come back anytime. We felt super comfortable.

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

Very nice apartment in apartment complex, upper floor (attention-steep stairs!), secluded, located in the middle of the dunes and therefore very quiet. Good amenities, very clean. Two balconies that allow a fantastic view of the beach and the nature reserve. Very friendly landlady; the communication was super pleasant and straightforward. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Charlotte’s place! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for our stay in Alkmaar as everything was within walking distance. Taking care of O’Malley was also a fun addition to our trip. He was very friendly but respected our space. All in all, we really enjoyed staying at Charlotte’s and would love to visit again in the future :)

I had a wonderful 7 days at Nanda’s apartment. It was very comfortable, lots of light, quiet, and easy to access the city by bike (primary for me), bus and foot. Nanda was very responsive and kind. If you are new to the Netherlands, know that the train outside of the apartment comes once an hour (it goes to a fantastic railway museum that you can walk to) and is whisper quiet, so if you wonder if it’s loud to be near train tracks, it isn’t at all as the trains are electric. The morning and evening light is plentiful and I just had a very lovely stay. The kitchen also is very functional and I did most of my meals in the apartment. Overall really great stay.

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Lovely holiday with family and friends, Daphne’s home gave us peace while we weren’t off sightseeing or biking!

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Marjolein was a perfect hostess. Her home was spacious and clean and very comfortably slept my group of 8 for 9 days. She welcomed us to her home with a pot of home-made soup and was kind and hospitable. She went as far as helping us book a cab last minute and had wonderful recommendations for all kinds of things. The home is conveniently located by the train making trips to Amsterdam easy and affordable. My group and I would highly recommend her home to anyone looking to stay in the Netherlands.

7 of us stayed here and I asked them if they would stay again... we/they all said yes. The only complaint is the road noise. The cars go around the roundabout and rev up their cars and the larger trucks must have a hard time getting around it as they too rev up their motors. The house and location were perfect.
