Great spot to stay in for what we needed! Staying for a couple of nights before heading off fishing about 90 mins away. Easy to access Amsterdam, 3 stops on the train and 5 min walk to station. Chi’s place was great. Boss games room and loads of space to chill and relax. Will definitely be back 👍🏻

My friend and I choose to stay here, since it was close to Zaanse-Schaans and Amsterdam Noord. And I must say: It’s the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever been to so far. I’d definitely recommend it to others, who’d like to wind out and relax after a very long day in the city and just wanna feel like home: this is the place. Marjolein has put so much love and detail to make this place super cozy. I really loved it. And the neighborhood feels super safe and there are some cafes close by with a nice view of the harbor. Definitely a must stay place, if you’re looking for a relaxing place. Thanks a lot Marjolein for letting us stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at Thi’s charming, old Dutch-style house. She was very kind and helpful throughout our visit, making sure everything went smoothly for us. The house is even better in person than in the photos, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Communication was easy, and Zaandam is a great alternative to staying right in the center of Amsterdam—away from the crowds and hustle, but still just a short train ride to Amsterdam Central. There are also supermarkets, bars, and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended, and we hope to return the next time we visit Amsterdam!

We had a nice stay at Aarts house and enjoyed the cozy and rural landscape. The apartment offered enough room for a group of 13. A special thing were the animals that we were allowed to pet. Very cute. We highly recommend to visit this house.

The owner personally entertained, was friendly and introduced the home facilities, responded quickly, there were horses, chickens, cats outside the house, but the home was not different and clean, the location was close to the windmill village

Cute town, not far from sightseeing locations such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Edam. Lovely garden with a beautiful view and comfortable home. Good kitchen and dining table for our family of four! Nice, easy parking, and responsive host.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The location of this Airbnb is excellent — situated in a quiet neighborhood that made for a peaceful stay. The studio is small but cozy, featuring a comfortable bed and a shower with great pressure and temperature. Since the apartment is in the basement, you could occasionally hear noises from the residence above, but it was never a major disturbance. One of the best parts is that it’s right next to a lovely park, making it super walkable. Plus, you can easily walk to many of Amsterdam’s main attractions from here, which is very convenient. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if I return to Amsterdam.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Henri our stay was very nice and the personal touch like ,fruit,beard,eggs etc in the fridge and the other personal touches in the flat made us very welcome,if we come to Amsterdam again i would definitely stay there,it was excellent.thankyou mel & henri for allowing us to share your home with us . Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.
