the accommodation is really nice and typical with a solarium and in the heart of a picturesque town close to nature and mills! i would highly recommend it!

Super nice and perfectly located apartment. The nearest AH supermarket is less than 5 min. Away. You can walk to the train station (train to Amsterdam) in 15 min. Parking is right outside the door. The apartment is great and above all comfortably furnished. All in all, we highly recommend the apartment.

Such a beautiful home, we felt so comfortable. It has everything you need and the kids loved the animals and the trampoline. Gorgeous neighborhood, grocery store down the road. Hot water tap and the ice cubes were really nice to have as well. They really went out of their way to accommodate us and suit our special needs, we really appreciate it!!!

This place was absolute perfect for our long stay in the Netherlands. Closet space was emptied for our convenience and all amenities were perfect for a comfortable stay. We loved the lush garden and my kid especially loved the trampoline in de garden. As bonus we took care of their cat Karel and we fell in love 😻. This place is well suited for a stay with kids with games available and gorgeous kids bedrooms. The indoor plant garden might have been my personal favourite feature. Nearby we were advised to visit Zaanse Schans (go for an early morning run/bike ride and you’ll have the place to yourself) and go exploring in the dunes and the Twiske nature park, all in close proximity of the house. Thank you to the hosts, this was a very memorable stay!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house offers more than you could possibly need—it’s incredibly well-equipped and thoughtfully arranged throughout. Every amenity works flawlessly, and the place is spotless, with great attention to detail. The neighborhood is peaceful yet well connected to the city center, offering the best of both sides. Susan and her family are truly wonderful—warm, friendly, and always ready to help or share a helpful tip. Communication was effortless from start to finish. The cats are very independent—you’ll hardly notice they’re there. I wholeheartedly recommend staying with Susan and give this experience a well-deserved 5 stars.

Boho, eclectic and full of personality . We really liked this house. Still a bit rough round the edges but the overall feel is great. Working fire, wood to burn, garden access, a well stocked kitchen with a few essentials like some spices and oil. Great cooker. A steep set of stairs to the bedrooms and apart from a lack of upstairs loo everything was fab. Beds comfy, clean bedlinen and spaces. Again full of character and sympathetic to the old building.

Brilliant place! Location was great - close to the train station and Amsterdam. Also, close to a good supermarket. Place is as described and shown in photos. Lovely and spacious; a good place for a group (there were 6 of us) with plenty of toilets and showers. Upstairs deck is lovely too! Easy to get in and hosts are responsive to messages. Would recommend to people wanting to visit Amsterdam (or surrounding areas) as location and place are great!

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

Fabulous place in the heart of Amsterdam! Easy to walk to most places, and the tram was close if you want to venture out further. Our family enjoyed people watching from the big open Dutch windows. Very beautiful location. Hosts were friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at Sharine and Keon’s place! The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, with easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer. Sharine and Keon were fantastic hosts—very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. Their home had a warm, personal touch that made us feel comfortable and at home right away. It was the perfect space for our family, and our little one especially enjoyed it. Very nice apartment in apartment complex, upper floor (attention-steep stairs!), secluded, located in the middle of the dunes and therefore very quiet. Good amenities, very clean. Two balconies that allow a fantastic view of the beach and the nature reserve. Very friendly landlady; the communication was super pleasant and straightforward. Highly recommended!

Lovely holiday with family and friends, Daphne’s home gave us peace while we weren’t off sightseeing or biking!

A beautiful house with all the advantages for a wonderful vacation. It has a great ambiance with plenty of space. The wardrobe is large and bright. The living and dining area is very nicely designed, the kitchen has all the features (dishwasher at standing height, great coffee maker, super stove, Quooker, dishes and glasses - very nice). The guest toilet on the first floor has a great design. The top two floors have very stylish high-quality furnishings with beautiful lighting. The bathroom is fully equipped, also very high quality. The garden is also very nicely designed with several seats with a very pleasant atmosphere, also covered. Everything was perfectly clean and beautiful, as shown in the pictures. The location is ideal for short distances to Alkmaar, Amsterdam and the sea. The lake in Akersloot is around the corner. We can fully recommend the house and will be happy to come back. An absolute gem right on the canal – a dream for design lovers! This house is just a little paradise in the middle of Haarlem! The location directly on the canal is not only picturesque, but also wonderfully quiet – perfect for relaxing. The small garden is a green oasis, lovingly designed and ideal for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The interior is exceptional – modern, exclusive and with a lot of sense of style and atmosphere. Every detail is well thought out, every piece of furniture seems to have been carefully selected. You can tell right away: Someone with a heart and a fine sense of design has set up here. The beds are wonderfully comfortable!

Marjolein was a perfect hostess. Her home was spacious and clean and very comfortably slept my group of 8 for 9 days. She welcomed us to her home with a pot of home-made soup and was kind and hospitable. She went as far as helping us book a cab last minute and had wonderful recommendations for all kinds of things. The home is conveniently located by the train making trips to Amsterdam easy and affordable. My group and I would highly recommend her home to anyone looking to stay in the Netherlands.

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Wonderful house if everything you can dream of for family vacation with kids. Lots of space. The garden and pool are a fantastic!
