Peregrino Boutique House – Single

GregorRating, 5 stars45 months ago
We stayed at the Hotel Peregrino for two nights and had a wonderful time. The historic center of Mérida is within walking distance, and the ADO bus terminal is, by car/taxi, just mere minutes away. The hotel manager was very welcoming, spoke impeccable English and supported us in anything we needed. We had booked a day trip which required us to leave before the official breakfast time, the staff was very supportive and prepared sandwiches, some fruit as well as tea for us to take on our way. We would definitely recommend Jim's place to anyone traveling to Mérida.
A spacious room is furnished with multiple wooden bunk beds and a seating area featuring a comfortable chair. Natural light enters through the large windows, highlighting the exposed beams and the soft tones of the walls. Shared bathrooms are accessible nearby.

Room 7 King-Bed Room with Private Terrace

HeatherRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was my fifth stay at Villa Mérida and it most certainly won’t be my last. It is a tranquil oasis within the heart of a beautiful and dynamic city. There aren’t words sufficient to describe how welcoming and kind the staff are, including Batiste, the gracious concierge. We were so sad that we weren’t able to catch him before our departure to say goodbye. The Villa itself is pure magic. The pool was recently upgraded with a heating system that provides the perfect temperature for a relaxing dip. The landscaping is a tropical dream come true. The kitchen is the perfect place to meet other guests, grab coffee or espresso, and prepare a quick meal if you don’t feel like venturing out. If you are lucky enough to find rooms available, book them. You won’t be disappointed!

Room 3 King-Bed Room Ideal For Couples

BradleyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This was a return trip for us, after six years away, and the property is even more wonderful now than before. You are staying in a historic mansion in downtown Merida and you feel like this sumptuous villa is yours. The ceilings must be almost 20 feet. The gardens and courtyards are iconic tropical Mexico. And the pool — now heated! Plus a large communal kitchen where you can make coffee and breakfast in the morning. The staff is welcoming and helpful. And your are within 20-25 minute walk to the Main Plaza and other centro attractions, restaurants and bars. Phenomenal.

WestonRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a great couple of nights at Maculan and wish we could have stayed longer. The location was superb, bed was super comfortable, and room was as clean as can be. Plus, Carlos at the front desk was super helpful with recommendations and even gave us discounts to local restaurants and cenotes.

Hotel with a cenote. Valladolid

SteveRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our heads are still spinning with memories of this beautiful place and the people. The property is a dream, lovely, safe, peaceful and quiet. We arrived by way of the Santa Rita turnoff at Ek-Balam, avoiding Valladolid. Signage to Secreto Maya is excellent. The guys and gals were sweet and friendly -- and fluent in English when our Spanish failed. I'm not sure who was cooking but they should be Michelin rated. Kept the dining open late just for us and a French family. Best cenote for swimming and diving that we have seen in Yucatan. So few people on a weekday that it felt like a private pool. (Apparently they skim it daily to please visitors even though the leaf debris is natural.) We'll go back, hopefully to renew acquaintances with our new friends, including Wera, the wonder puppy.
A serene outdoor space features a clear swimming pool surrounded by sandy-colored tiles. Comfortable lounge chairs are arranged nearby, with potted plants and a stone wall adding texture to the setting. Lush greenery frames the area, enhancing the inviting atmosphere.

More Wind Kitchen Suite next to Kite Beach

MichelleRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Perfect for our party of 8! We booked the 3 apartments, so nice each apartment is in it’s own building. We used the main kitchen building for cooking all of our meals. Rooftop sat all 8 of us. Power went out in town, we still had all the basics like refrigerators, fans, lights, phone charging and starlink. Super close to beach and restaurants. We will be back next year for sure!

Room for Couples

GavinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This property saved us, we were booked into another location round the corner and upon arrival late at night were unable to stay due to the noise and mess of the property. At 11pm we booked this hotel and the staff were extremely accommodating and extremely helpful and really saved us in our time of need. I would recommend staying here if you are in Valladolid, it is a short walk from the bus station and a lot of the central town activities. The hosts even ran after us in the morning to provide us with some homemade breakfast to have on the go. It’s the little things that make stays memorable.
A welcoming room features two spacious beds adorned with colorful throws. A green plant sits on a wooden side table. A vibrant hammock is hung between the beds, adding a relaxing touch to the atmosphere.

Golden Age Room (Hotel El Faro).

TobiasRating, 5 stars27 months ago
In Rio Lagartos Selmy welcomed us. She was super warm and nice to us. Even if there were small language barriers, she gave us numerous tips for the surrounding area. The room was very clean, but unfortunately the bathroom was not very modern. The location of the hotel almost perfect on the harbor. We would come here again at any time!
A well-lit bathroom features a colorful, hand-painted sink surrounded by a light-colored countertop. A decorative mirror with intricate patterns is mounted above the sink. White towels hang neatly on a towel bar, and a toilet is visible on the side.
