Vacation rentals with breakfast in Yucatan

This is one of those gems you run across in the world! They really nailed it. I own a travel company, have quite high expectations and I travel a lot. I’m always searching for the gems around the world where somebody has created something magical. This is one of those places. My friend and I were attending a wellness ceremony and wanted a property that was very zen to stay at before and after the ceremony. The property was exactly what we were looking for. Many properties look nice in this area but the creators don’t pay attention to the details, functionality and service. Not here. Every detail is well thought out inside and out, everything functions properly and effectively and the groundskeepers/butlers, Laura and Mario are second to none at their job! Anything we wanted..they were there to accommodate. From the amazing breakfasts Laura cooked to the sacred copal incense baths Mario poured on us…these beautiful people were amazing! We will certainly be returning to this property!

Everything excellent. The service was very friendly, the cabins had just enough to rest and disconnect. The place is really nice because it is in the middle of the Yucatecan jungle and they knew how to take advantage of it. I would definitely come back.

It was a spacious and comfortable stay, Pablo is attentive to any request, in addition to his good recommendations.

This is an amazing place to rest, relax and unwind. The grounds are incredible and the staff can’t do enough to help. The host has been extremely helpful in organizing everything and we would love to visit again to enjoy such wonderful, peaceful surroundings and meet friends, again.

The place identical to the photos, it has all the amenities to spend an incredible stay, everything is very nice and clean, the excellent attention from the administrator, I highly recommend it.

Super nice, clean and quiet house in the center. We arrived in Izamal on the Mayan train and the drive to the house takes 15 minutes max. We were greeted by Gabriel, who was always very friendly and helpful. Everything is close and you can walk around without a problem, they offer two bicycles to use, it is a very safe city, we would definitely return to Casa Vicenta.

Jungle and stars is a unique place. We felt right at home from the beginning. The hosts were very concerned about our well-being. Made suggestions for excursions. We were able to order food at any time. We felt safe. It was quiet, only jungle noises could be heard. Great emphasis is placed on cleanliness. The archaeological site in Coba is the most beautiful we have seen, surrounded by nature.

My stay at Mina's place was fantastic. The house is amazing (although you don't have the whole house to yourself, just the rooms) and they take into account every detail, each room has a private bathroom and shower, TV, and amenities. The most unique element is that you have breakfast included every day and it is delicious! The pool is really big and the area is close to Pase Montejo, one of Merida's main roads. Also every day we got our bed made. I would say this is like a hotel experience but way more private ;) Cons I have are: Wi-Fi is terrible, you don't get signal at the rooms so if you plan to work remotely from there, I don't recommend it. Also, its not specified in the description but you share space with another house. During my stay the owner was not there so the place was all for ourselves. And lastly, you only have the rooms, you don't have a kitchen or a mini fridge or something to store food or drinks.

Chandree is the kindest & most helpful host you can ask for. Casa Balam is 15 min drive South of Tulum - it’s peaceful & quiet. It is a hidden oasis..the kitchen has everything, bed v comfortable and the apt itself is large and the Terrace is huge! I would love to return with a yoga group or friends (downstairs at Casa Margherita is a massive - retreat house, ideal for 8-10 people). I arranged a transfer with Chandree & her husband. They picked me up from the bus station in Tulum. There’s a regular bus every hour &/or if you drive it easy to find (ask for directions). Chandree gave me a delicious breakfast of fresh papaya, mango, & pina, followed by organic eggs (from her chickens) & avocado...ask Chandree &/or her hubby Guatemoc how to walk to the lake nearby. Perfect place to swim..Thank you both for everything.

Everything excellent

This place wave marvelous - and so impressive. The minute we walked in the door we were impressed and charmed. It is a huge house, with high ceilings. Beds comfy and bedrooms large and airy. The pool was perfect for my 2-year-old daughter. The rooftop area was a great space. There are some great restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Would have even loved to stay longer - but was booked out for after we left. Thank you Alex!

Really nice place to stay near the center. In Mérida itself there is quite a lot of traffic, which you can also hear in the bedroom. But that was the only small downside. Bobbie is a super hostess, totally relaxed and she has created a small oasis in the dusty city. We felt very, very comfortable!!!

We stayed for 9 nights. Every detail has been attended to resulting in a curated a guest experience a cut above the rest. The pool and enchanting garden have mix of comfortable sunny or shaded seating. Our room was spacious yet homey. An excellent mattress, natural fibre linens, light-blocking curtains, as well as natural insect repellant ensured a great sleep every night. The bathroom had a privacy door and toiletries scented with essential oils. Fluffy towels, facecloths, and even a bath mat added a luxurious touch beyond what one sees in accommodations with a similar price point. The air conditioning and the ceiling fan operate quietly and the fridge is a bonus for keeping drinks cold or takeout fresh. Breakfast is copious and fresh with attractive plating and homemade jams and condiments. The best part of staying at Casa Magu was meeting Mario and Rene. They were welcoming, helpful and generous of their time. We will definitely return and would recommend Casa Magu to anyone.

Camille’s place was perfect for our stay in Mérida. It was sparkling clean, with a comfortable and spacious bed, a lovely patio, and a delicious homemade breakfast. By the way, the girls in the kitchen were lovely! The only minor downside was that our room, "The Cenote," was a bit dark and lacked natural light. Also, keep in mind that the location isn’t within walking distance to the city center, so having a car is essential or public transportation. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. Camille’s local recommendations were spot-on and made our trip even more memorable.

Rarely stayed in a place that beautiful, from the architecture to the decorations, to the outdoor spaces and the dogs. Refined, sophisticated, peaceful, connected, lovely. We will be back - Ciao Eliza and Guillaume we hope to see you soon! And grazie for the honey <3

A wonderful Airbnb experience! My partner and I loved our stay there. Fabian and Ilanea are warm, sunny people who make you feel at home away from home. The accomodation is charming and clean, and is located in front of a beautiful, peaceful lagoon. If you are interested in Maya civilization and culture, you will love Fabian's library. The host also gave us plenty of great recommendations for stuff to do in the area. Will definitely stay there again if I come back to Cobà!
