Enjoy stylish living in the Roscoe House, an updated 1888 Victorian where wood and granite counter tops meet walnut shelves and vintage finds, mixed with original art. The house includes a library, patio, and fully stocked gourmet kitchen. *nearby train track construction was recently mentioned in 2 reviews; the city of Chicago seems to have moved on to a new section of the track, yay! If this changes we will do our best to update you!* Bringing kids? We have a pack and play with organic cotton sheets, blow up toddler bed, sound machines, high chair, baby gate, play kitchen, toys and books. FYI: There is a Craigs List scammer using our listing photos-- Beware! We love art and design and hope our home reflects that. This newly remodeled modern space is a 3 bedroom house, each with a private bathroom and flat screen TV. (3br 3 bath) There is also a queen pullout sofa if you have a larger group- we can accommodate up to 8 people. We provide all sheets, towels, and parking permits for street parking where you can usually find a parking spot within the block radius. The living room is perfect for hanging out- enjoy the 55in SmartTV /Netflix,Amazon prime accessible or read a book or play a game in our library, and cook in the fully stocked kitchen or BBQ on our patio. The home has central air throughout- so heat in the winter and A/C in the summer. All the rooms have ceiling fans for the in between seasons. Want to be out? You're a 5-10 minute walk to many great shops, restaurants and bars. We are 20 minutes to downtown via the Red line EL train, 5 minute walk to Wrigley Baseball Stadium, 7 minute walk to Southport Street where all the family restaurants and great shops are, and a 10 minute walk to Boystown. The Roscoe House is the perfect place for your stay in Chicago! Remember though, with all this great access to city fun- you will be in the city, which means you will hear the train pass behind the house (3 lots over) and if the windows are open, you might hear the neighbors. Most say that the train sounds like a nice woosh to lull you to sleep :) Permit street parking is available (we can give you a permit)**A NOTE ABOUT THE PARKING PERMITS: Be sure to enter the date and time on the sticker for every day you park. Train is close; which is very handy to visit the city. Close to Lincoln park and many restaurants and shops. This place was very comfortable, private and quiet. Brian was also also very flexible with check in and check out times. Definitely recommended !

What a lovely home! We and our two daughters had a great stay. The master bedroom is quite spacious, the beds are comfortable, there was ample closet space, and the kitchen is fantastic! The Roscoe Village neighborhood more generally is charming and walkable to any trips for essentials (multiple grocery stores and pharmacies within half a mile). While the Cubs were on the road during our trip, the house is an easy 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. And Sharleen was always prompt and very helpful in answering the questions we had. We would happily return!

Had a lovely stay at Janice's place! It is located a short drive from Logan Square, which has restaurants, bars, and a blue line metro stop. There was also a bus stop just outside the neighborhood. Speaking of the neighborhood, it was very serene and private, with plenty of parking regardless of the time of day. The airbnb is a basement unit, so maybe something to keep in mind if you're on the taller side, but it was spacious, and there was minimal noise from the floor above. Shower had great water pressure! Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Janice was very communicative and clear instructions were given for checkin and checkout processes.

We loved Nora’s apartment! It was perfect for two adults and an infant. The pack n play plus high chair were huge helps to have on-site. The free laundry in building laundry was also fantastic. The apartment is charming, clean and close proximity to the park and main strip of restaurants and shops in Lincoln Square. We would definitely stay at Nora’s again.

Our hosts were excellent - communicative, welcoming, friendly. We were greeted by Bob who was very laid back and accommodating. He offered good recommendations and amenities during our stay. The space is perfect for large groups and certainly impresses with its charm and personality. The neighborhood is walkable to the Blue Line and many bars/restaurants. Overall 10/10 a perfect stay and would absolutely book again in the future.

Staying at James' place was a dream! 😍 His home was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything my partner and I needed. We adored the balconies and the rooftop deck was very cool! We loved that his home was very close to one of the Brown Line stations and we could hop on the 'L' very quickly. We also ate at Frasca, Avenue Tap & Kitchen and Bitter Pops and the food was excellent! We would stay here again!

A really cute, cozy apartment in a great location. Brock was wonderful and very responsive. There was always parking, and it was close to everything. Children upstairs were a bit noisy during the day but overall, my stay was enjoyable and I would definitely recommend the place.

Justin is very responsive and helpful. We booked the place for almost two weeks, and he offered to bring us new towels. The place is nice and clean. Great location.

This was a fabulous place to stay! My brother and I could easily walk to the "L" and head downtown. The pizza place right downstairs was delicious - we ate there twice in three days! The beds were comfortable, the couch and living room set up was cozy. I would absolutely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb during our Chicago trip! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do with our kids. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. It felt like a home away from home. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
