Cabin vacation rentals in Wrights Lake

Creating memories with adult children who are living their own lives can be hard to schedule. We found the perfect opportunity for a quick weekend getaway hosted by Leif. What we thought we were getting was a house big enough to host our group. What we got, was so much more! As soon as you walk into the space, you realize that the pictures you saw on the posting do not do justice to the real thing. You’re transported into another era where life slows down and you realize the simplest of things are the really important things: like family. My children especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet Leif’s animals and feed them rinds and banana peels. Peanut was the star of the show ( if you know, you know). Thank you, Leif, for a beautiful weekend that provided a much needed respite, but offered so much more than we were expecting. We can’t wait to come back and make this a family tradition though next time we will stay longer and be more prepared with our animal food supplies : )

The cabin was just perfect for our stay. Close to town and lots of hiking. We walked from the cabin into Big Trees state park which is a magical place. We would definitely stay here again and hoping to come back with our paddleboards.

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

We’ve been coming to Incline for several years now and this was our best trip yet! Cindy’s place was incredible! So cozy, clean and perfect for our family. The location was everything! We had our own private gated community beach away from all the large crowds. It was so perfect. We swam just about everyday. We brought a small electric raft boat and cruised along the coast and did a little fishing. We brought our electric bikes and rode the east shore trail everyday! We LOVE Hidden Beach! We would go down early morning and save a spot for the day. So beautiful. We ate at Incline Burgers, the rotisserie place next door and also cooked several meals at home. They even have a crock pot which was awesome! Boys golfed while the girls relaxed at the beach. We hiked up to Monkey Rock around 7am which is the best time to go. Not crowded at all. Our teens will remember this trip forever. Memories for a lifetime! We can’t wait to come back to Cindy’s place! Thank you!

Mikes place was absolutely amazing. I LOVE all the 70s decor and our family felt right at home. Being a one minute walk to the lake was absolutely incredible and we spent all day in the water. The deck was perfect for morning coffees and afternoon sunsets and the inside of the home was perfect, spacious and clean and most of all AC on a 100 degree day was the icing on the cake. We will be back! Thank you Mike!

Lakefront location!!! Any closer to the water and you would be getting wet! My wife and I spent a week here and loved it. Constant view of the lake. Great easy parking… a couple steps to the front door. Patio on the lake cannot be beat. We’ll be back.

If you are looking for a retreat this is the place. The waterfront backyard makes leaving difficult. Love the place and can't wait to return.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

Beautiful home with lots of space, great amenities and comfortable beds. Zephyr Cove is a lovely, quiet area but still close to local restaurants, shopping and hiking trails. The hosts were very responsive and promptly answered our questions. I would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

My friends and I had a wonderful time! The cabin was beautiful, private, and had an awesome view. The house was clean and very similar to the photos provided. We enjoyed the bath tub and relaxed on the deck! Definitely recommend this place. Ryan was very responsive and friendly!

Cabin was awesome. Cozy and comfortable. Modern upgrades and well stocked to enjoy an escape to natural, everything you need. Hot tub under the stars accentuated the experience. Walls of windows allowed full experience. Nestled in the redwoods. Highly recommend a stay.

The house is at a great spot, close to nature and town. And away from noisy highways. We had a great time exploring the Tahoe area, and relaxing back at the house

The workshop was absolutely charming and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gail's personalized welcome signs made my pup and I feel instantly at home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the space were truly impressive, and the cozy ambience made it even better than the photos. Gail was incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay which is always greatly appreciated. Will be coming here again when we're in the area :). I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

Great location and lovely place. Easy access and great communication with Amy. This is a perfect place for 2 if you want to escape to Tahoe for a long weekend.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It accommodated everyone comfortably. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on in any Airbnb. Kathryn was very responsive host. my family and I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with our dog. The home is a peaceful and quiet escape from the busy pace of everyday life. Surrounded by wilderness, it offered a great chance to disconnect and unwind. We even spotted a few deer in the late evening and early morning, which was such a wonderful experience! Just a couple of minor things to note: the bathroom sink was a bit farther than my wife liking due to height, and the bath towels could have been a bit cleaner. Otherwise, everything was great, and we truly appreciated the serene atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

What a wonderful Place! Because we made a wrong-day booking at "The Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch" nearby, Linda Davies called her friend Gordon if he can help us out with this beautiful small house. The small white House is very beautiful, has a huge garden behind and all amenities you want. The Rainshower is awesome, Kitchen with everything, x Remote-Controls for TV, DVD, AC, Fireplace, Lights etc. THX Gordon!

Lindas A-frame is adorable!!! After traveling down from Montana, her cabin was perfect for relaxing & bed beyond comfortable. Lindas home is very accomodating...everything you need. I would definitely stay again and my family as well. Its a perfect retreat!! Very organized too!!!
