The Malthouse - Alnwick. Free Parking

AvrilRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A beautiful apartment fully equipped, warm and very comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for visiting Alnwick. The rooms were spacious and a supermarket was just 2 minutes walk away. As an EV driver I would recommend the rapid Ionity chargers at Cawledge business park 1.8 miles from the property in preference to the ac chargers adjacent to the Malthouse which had a 4 hr time limit and charged at 11 KW max. The owner’s communication was prompt and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Newtonlees Cottage-A hidden gem!

GaelleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
we were gutted to only be staying a night as it's a lovely place, so cared for and detailed attention to everything to make your stay really easy and comfortable. quiet, lovely street, easy access yet very secure, wee entrance space to help get any outdoor gear off before heading into a cosy lounge that leads onto the kitchen. so many little details that help you have a relaxed stay, honestly it's tip top. bedroom is upstairs, very spacious and comfortable. bathroom downstairs (to left of entrance)and again spacious and well equipped,. looking forward to heading back for longer next time

One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. Clean, extremely comfortable with everything you could need and lots of little extra touches. Great for the dogs with secure garden and loads of beach walks a short drive away and a really nice long loop walk around nearby fields right from the door. You really feel at home and we had an amazing week. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely cosy caravan

PhilRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great stay at the cozy caravan. It was spotlessly clean, well decorated and had good pictures. The kitchen was very well equipped, in addition to the usual there was an Airfryer, slow cooker and blender as well as a full sized fridge/freezer, comfy bed and great TV. Would definitely return when working in the area, it was a real home from home, loved it.

Honeymug, Branton

AnneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

Magical memories have fun!

MariumRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Cheers Marium

The Old Station Cottage (Bamburgh / Belford)

Andrew PeterRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I went to Tony’s place to finish the book I’ve been writing. I wanted a clean, well maintained cottage to find peace and quiet and Tony’s cottage was all that and more. Well placed for trips to seahouses, bamburgh, lindisfarne and the wider Northumbrian coast I couldn’t recommend the location or the facilities more highly. Tony communicated with me well so that check in and check out was smooth. A great place to stay.

A really comfy and cosy cottage right in the heart of the village, but still a quiet and peaceful location. The bed was comfortable (only used the master bedroom) and the room spacious. The whole place had a calm atmosphere which was just what we were looking for. Great location for exploring North Northumberland and the Borders. I'd recommend this place heartily.

Mini Castle: Seas a’fore, Peaks aft, Stars above

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful. The home is full of character and charm, with every detail thoughtfully considered to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most lovely, scent that set the tone for a peaceful and refreshing visit. The cleanliness was impeccable and I mean impeccable, squeaky clean, everything was spotless and clearly maintained with great care. Your cleaner is a credit to you. It’s rare to find a place that feels this pristine while still being so cozy and inviting. The comfort throughout the space was outstanding, feathered pillows and quits were my kind of bonus. We appreciated the gravity water filter in the kitchen such a thoughtful and eco-conscious touch. The shower was another highlight powerful and spacious. One of my favorite moments was standing at the kitchen window admiring the majestic redwood tree just outside. We’re so grateful for our time here and would return in a heartbeat. 💛
