Waterfront vacation rentals in Wollaston

Our first visit to this beautiful home was absolutely wonderful! Lesley and Ian were incredibly friendly, responsive, and hospitable throughout. The home itself is a serene retreat with stunning green views, and it was clean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the availability of kayaks, which added to our enjoyment. Their flexibility and support regarding checkout, even allowing us to enjoy the outdoor space after the checkout time, made our stay even more relaxing. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This was our fourth visit!! We have now stayed in all four rooms and we were in the King’s Den this time!! It felt like coming home as we were greeted with a hug from Taurean and Robert. We had a peaceful three night stay where we spent our time relaxing on the dock, in the hot tub and paddling the river in the paddle boat. Looking forward to our next visit. Glad to have found this little gem!!

Sometimes Airbnb descriptions can be a bit exaggerated, or the photos make the space look roomier than it really is. Not the case with Judi and Dave's place. It was MORE spacious and LOVLIER than the photos and descriptions captured! I felt absolutely at home, there was ample surface area to really spread out during my stay, and the shower was perfect. The first two nights, I took late night walks around the neighborhood and felt absolutely safe. The last night I took a delicious swim in the clean river, much needed in the oppressive heat. When I could bear the heat, I sat out on the deck and read, and when I wasn't at the house, the location was a great jumping off point for activities in Peterborough and the Kawarthas. I can’t say enough positive reviews regarding this airbnb…it is definitely one of my favourites! I had the pleasure of meeting Susan at check in and she is a lovely host. Her airbnb was so clean, spacious, well equipped and beautifully located on Lake Vernon. The space is the bottom of her home which is a walk out with windows across the front so you can see the lake at all times. The bed and linens were super comfortable and the unit had full sized refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, microwave and lots of amenities. Her property has over 100’ feet of water front with a beautiful dock that I spent hours sitting on…it was so peaceful & relaxing! I also went swimming in Lake Vernon which was refreshing as the temp was very quite warm (bottom was all sand) Susan made sure there was lots of AC for my comfort level. I stayed for 3 nights but wanted to stay all summer! I highly recommend this Airbnb and I hope to return again!

We had a great weekend here. Peaceful and relaxing. House was clean and had beautiful surroundings. Sara had great recommendations for eating out and was very helpful.

Absolutely lovely spot! We had such a relaxing time here. There was lots to do; kayaking, fishing off the dock, board games, Roku and more. Such a cozy vibe- we are definitely adding it to our list for future getaways. Kees was a great host; very easy to follow instructions and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at this very clean, nicely furnished, well equipped and nicely located cottage. Loved reading and having a morning coffee on the dock. Nice quiet lake. Not too long a drive.

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

really lovely location on the lake. well equipped place. the vies of the lake is incredible. we took the canoe out in the evening and the morning and was just amazing! definitely recommend it to get away from the hustle and bustle

A very friendly and responsive host. The instructions to get inside were clear and easy to follow. The host provided a list of amenities nearby of things to do.

A wonderful spot with every convenient considered! The espresso machine might have been the highlight of my trip. The beach is very nice and close. The king bed is a very firm spring mattress, so something to consider if that is important to you.

L'emplacement du condo est exceptionnel. tranquille, accès facile au quai, aménagement intérieur très esthétique. De plus, c'est l'une des seules fois où un hôte met à notre disposition autant de produits qui rendent le quotidien plus facile: sucre , huile, fines herbes et épices, café en quantité , etc. Merci pour tout cela. De plus, nous avons fait une découverte vraiment intéressante en visitant Hunstville. Le peintre Tom Thompson et de groupe des 7 qui s'en sont inspirés, y sont mis à l'honneur sur les murs du centre ville (place publique, garage, sur le mur d'une terrasse ou du bureau de poste, etc). Il y en a une centaine dans la région. Aller à la chasse de ces oeuvres peut prendre des heures pour la famille et permet de mieux connaître ce coin de pays. Il est facile de trouver le circuit sur Internet.

It was such a great experience staying at this place. Maja and Neno are great hosts - the instructions are clear and it’s easy to find the suite even when it’s dark. They also share local recommendations (there is puppy yoga!) :) the place is an amazing getaway from the busy and noisy city life. In clear days you can see so many stars in the sky from the porch. It’s also so close to Algonquin so I can totally imagine it being super busy during maple leaf seasons. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area. The place was perfect for the 3 of us as abase for birding at Presqu'ile. It was simple, uncluttered and clean with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Jason was friendly and helpful. He checked in with us several times to make sure we got in, and even sent someone over with a key for the locker so we could store our bicycles. He provided good suggestions on activities and restaurants too. We had a great stay. Outstanding service. Thanks Jason!
