Waterfront vacation rentals in Hastings County

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. We had a great stay! Any fisherman looking to go fish the bay of quinty i strongly recommend looking into kim place! We were able to walk out the door straight onto our boat at kims dock and be fishing within minutes! Tim horton and bait shop are just around the corner

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

Debra is a great hostess that goes above and beyond for your stay. As an added bonus, she supplied enough food for breakfast for the next morning. She is thoughtful and attentive. Campbellford is a beautiful town with everything within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!! 🤗

This place was amazing. My wife young daughter and I stayed in the walk out basement. The views are amazing and the property is great. Access to Sandbanks and everything else in Prince Edward County. The host is easy to communicate with and very accommodative. We want to come back again but being the whole extended family and rent the entire house!

This place is really good for a couple who wants to spend some quality time in the woods. Deafening silence all around which makes it so special and peaceful to connect with nature :) Property was super clean and nicely maintained- Cynthia was pretty quick and precise with her responses as well. The only feedback I would give is that the mattress and pillows in the bedroom should be more comfortable and probably of better quality! Would definitely recommend this place for a couple of nights for sure :)

Francis's 3 bedroom cottage on the lake/river is an excellent location to decompress, fish, canoe, kayak, mountain bike or walk the woods to see Ontario's wildlflowers. The cottage is tidy and it has everything one may need when cottaging. The cottage is a very short drive to the beautiful quaint Town of Hastings. We were able to stream the hockey game (Oilers vs Panthers) and we watch Netflix in the evening after cooking a late dinner on the campfire. There is a propane BBQ but we prefer to cook over a fire. Neighbours are quiet and friendly. If you are looking for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway, I strongly recommend Francis's cottage- you will not be disappointed.

Renne is a fantastic host. Quick to respond and very helpful. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. There is lots of outdoor seating options which was one of our favourite things. It was an amazing place to have a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year!!

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

My family of 5 and 3 dogs enjoyed our stay! It was very relaxing and description was as described and more. Even though the wifi did not work, Elyse was very accommodating and helpful! She remained reliable and available throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this stay to family and friends.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Tara’s cottage on the water. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was something special. The cottage is cozy, clean, and beautifully set up for a relaxing escape. Being right on the water made for stunning views and easy access for swimming, kayaking, or just enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Tara was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Whether we were hanging out on the deck, cooking together, or just enjoying the quiet, every moment felt like the perfect cottage getaway. We’re already talking about coming back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a beautiful, waterfront setting.

The place is very nice, the kids liked the small sand beach. The water is very clean and nice to swim and fish. Views are amazing, and the store right across the street has everything you might need during the stay. Goran is great in communication.

The place was perfect for the 3 of us as abase for birding at Presqu'ile. It was simple, uncluttered and clean with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Jason was friendly and helpful. He checked in with us several times to make sure we got in, and even sent someone over with a key for the locker so we could store our bicycles. He provided good suggestions on activities and restaurants too. We had a great stay. Outstanding service. Thanks Jason!

Great place to stay! Out cottage was a bit small in the living/kitchen area but we made due. Close to the public boat launch which had alot of traffic but that was ok. Water was beautiful and beach area was perfect. Goran was always available to help with questions about his place. My family and fur baby had a wonderful weekend away. The store across the street is dangerous if you have children who like ice cream lol
