There are no neighbors (single location). The beautiful town of Jaidhof with a castle and recreational pond is about 500 m away. Krems an der Donau is about 18 km away. The town of Gföhl with shops and restaurants is 1 km away. At the Krumau reservoir (10 km), you have the opportunity for a boat trip.

Our cottage is located on a semi-remote in a forest by the Stropnice River. While this may not be the case at first glance, there are neighbors nearby, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Wonderful apartment, nicely decorated and lovingly designed, but nothing useless. Kitchen well stocked. Wonderful view through a large window of the fortified church of Weißenkirchen, the surrounding vineyards and the sunrise. Ideal location in the center in a side street. The Danube, wine taverns, shops and train station are within a pleasant walking distance. Parking in the Oberen Bachgasse was not a problem at our time of travel. The hostess Ilse is very friendly and has good tips ready, she also delighted us with a homemade apricot jam.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet secluded location. The cottage is cozy and has an absolutely magical atmosphere. The owner was very kind, she gave us great instructions on how to get to the place and how everything works in the cottage. Solar power was fully sufficient for normal operation as well as plenty of hot water.
