The Cottage at Dunalan

NevilleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I have stayed in BnB's all over SA for work and I have two listings myself, one in SA and one in Bali. Alana and Jay's country cottage is exceptional if you are happy to stay in an amazing cottage in a working cropping and sheep farm! The cottage has everything you'll need..... was spotlessly clean, welcoming and Alana always available for anything you'll need. As a Co-host on Air BnB, I took photos of the little things that Alana has provided and will take them onboard to improve my own Air BnB properties.! The night view of stars with no light 'pollution' of street lights... amazing... Regrets? I didn't get to meet the very friendly sheep dog!!

Gums N' Roses B&B

Fabulous stay in Bordertown. Beautifully decorated house - super clean. Well located just a few minutes to shops. Tricia was quick to respond and provided us with a warm welcome - fire lit and home made biscuits. Linen towels all excellent. Fantastic backyard lots of lawn fully enclosed for our dog to enjoy. Cereals bread milk etc provided for a light breakfast. We had a one night stay en route from Melbourne to SA. We would definitely stay here again highly recommend it ( and I’m fussy 😉) Good memories - great stay !!!!!
The spacious lounge area features exposed brick walls and high wooden ceilings, providing a warm atmosphere. A comfortable sectional sofa is positioned near a coffee table on a textured rug, with a large dining table visible in the background. Soft natural light fills the room through ample windows.

My stay at Sania’s was great. You have everything that you need.
A sandy path leads through coastal greenery towards the beach. The clear blue water glistens under a partly cloudy sky, emphasizing the peacefulness of the shore. Dunes and native plants frame the view, creating a serene atmosphere of natural beauty.

The Yellow Duck

RobertRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Yellow Duck was the perfect place to stay. Great location, very quiet, and so clean and tidy. Lee was very responsive to any requests or questions and very happy to offer advice on the area that related to the reason for my visit. There was a nice touch of a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates. I would highly recommend the Yellow Duck as a place to stay. It had all amenities that one may need whilst on the road or a weekend away. Hopefully next year when the annual Red Tailed cockatoo count is on, I can utilize the Yellow Duck accommodation again. Thank you Lee for a wonderful place to stay
A chicken stands prominently in front of a henhouse, framed by a wire fence. The henhouse features wooden siding, with additional chickens visible in the background. The setting is natural, surrounded by trees and open space.

Karnak Farm Stay

A very peaceful farm stay for our young family between Adelaide and Melbourne. We loved the chickens and sheep and the wood fire. Limited phone reception so perfect to unplug. It is an old house but comfortable and peaceful with a very responsive and kind host
