Luxury Barn Conversion

HilaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Wagon Barn was in a great location for our family activities. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils. The open plan lay out suited our young family well, as we could see where everyone was. The outside area was spacious with outdoor seating and a BBQ, and the views over the fields very peaceful and pretty. We even saw deer in the fields on two days. There was plenty of parking for our 3 cars, as well as room for the dogs to run around. Although there was a fence and gate, our dogs would have got through the gate or over the fence, so we kept them on leads most of the time. Overall we loved the property and would highly recommend it. The host answered questions quickly and helpfully too. Wonderful week for our large family!

Luxurious eco-stay in rolling Devon hills

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

Lavender Cottage, Mosterton, Beaminster, Dorset.

We had the perfect stay at the Lavender Cottage. We travelled down from Oxford for a relaxing baby moon near the coast. Spent the day at Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove which was absolutely stunning and did not disappoint. Drive wasn't too far from the cottage through lovely scenic villages. Wendy is a superstar host. Very friendly, knowledgeable of the area and an absolute joy. She provided us with recommendations of places to visit and eat locally. The cottage itself was clean and well equipped with everything you need for a few days away. I loved the style and overall aesthetic of the cottage. We would highly recommend.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

We stayed at Cedar Lodge (Oakwater Escapes) recently,Adam was a fantastic host very friendly and knowlegable on any questions we asked. The Lodge grounds had everything you need for a relaxing get away, hot tube is a good addition along with the open and well maintined nature areas. Ilminster is a freindly little town the surrounding area is beautiful, plenty of dog walks, a 20 mins walk to the George Inn where you will find freindly staff and definitley reccomend the steaks. A small drive away is the town which has a few shops, a chinesse and indian if you don't fancy cooking! Overall we will most definitely be back in the future. A*
