Family-friendly vacation rentals in Winnebago County

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home! As we get older, my friends and I cherish the time we get to spend together each year on our annual summer trip and this has got to be one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. It was a perfect weekend get-away to unwind and we loved spending time at the lake. The house had a cozy and cabin-like feel to it and it was the perfect size for our group. Bonnie was a great host and very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone!

We had the absolute best time. This was by far the most thoughtfully stocked house we’ve ever rented. It was great!

Jennifer was a wonderful host, she left clear instruction on check in and check out. Super flexible and provided our group with a great amount of recommendations for restaurants and things around the area. Jennifer was very quick to reply and help out with anything we needed.

Welcoming and attentive caretaker, kitchen amenities, fun for multi-generational groups, hot tub is divine, fun touches. For once, the teen and college-aged boys weren’t bored. I bet it’s even better in the summer. The upstairs bathroom would be happier with one more light. 💡:)

My family and I had a wonderful few days at Bonnie’s place. It had outstanding amenities - a nice hot tub, well supplied kitchen, and all the boats you could want when staying on a beautiful lake. We’d definitely recommend it to others.

This is the perfect location if you are in town for the Packers! Great proximity to Lambeau and Al’s bar is a dream for any Packers fan. Al and Karen are fantastic hosts. Incredibly welcoming and communicative. Their home truly made our first Packers experience a memorable one.

Amazing and unique home with a fun sense of history, but that backyard/dock just couldn’t be beat. We pretty much lived outside the entire trip and only came inside to sleep and eat. With the big old oaks, grassy areas everywhere, lake floaties, fire pits and tables/loungers/chair provided, this was the perfect summer vacation. The dock was perfect for jumping off of and we even caught two 5lb bass there! We stayed floating in the lake under the sun all day as the water was so clear that you could see to the bottom. The top was so still that it looked like glass. We got a daily show of some amazing ballet skiers, which we waited for every day as they went by on their boats. The kids caught tons of little bass and perch on the docs and the dogs loved swimming and running on the incredibly large lot. It was cool and comfortable, both inside and out of the house. Great restaurants nearby and fun place to walk the dogs. We’ll definitely be back, everyone who visited wanted to book it too!

Certainly! Here's a short review for your stay with Travis: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at Travis's place during EAA AirVenture! The location was perfect for our needs, and the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. Travis was incredibly friendly and responsive, promptly answering any questions we had.

Great place in a great location. We really enjoyed our trip.

There were just a few things that could have been better but none of these were show stoppers and in general everything was Great 1) water pressure wasn’t the best but was functional 2) too much salt on front step and sidewalk ( made it hard not to keep it out of the house 3) wished the one side of the garage would have been open as an alternate way in and out of the house so snow boots etc could have been kept out of the house by entering via the garage ( that would have allowed us to keep house even cleaner)

It’s just such a peaceful relaxing place to be. I just makes you feel at home.

Even though half of our group was unable to make it, there was plenty of room to fit all 8 of us that we had planned for. The pictures were great and the place looked exactly like the pictures, with the exception of the deck furniture. The furniture was there but it was off of the side of the deck instead of setup fully. The weather wasn't good enough to be hanging outside much, so it wasn't a deterrent or detriment for us. The backyard was very private. The property is ringed in trees so it has a very secluded feel to it. The house is just off of the highway so very easy to find. We will definitely consider renting this place again. Hopefully next time the whole group will be able to make it.

5 star review with a couple of caveats. The house has a tremendous amount of stairs. The house has 5 levels. Not a five story house, but 5 levels. If you have mobility issues this will be an issue for you and/or your stay. The view is gorgeous. The yard/property is very nice. The hosts supply corn hole game and kayak's and maybe other things we didn't use/do. All of that is great. The house is unique. It is like a "double" you might see in the city. The owners live next door to you is the best way I can describe it. You will see them and interact with them. We did not as they were out of town. The hosts state this in the listing but it is somewhat easy to overlook this issue. No big deal, but don't be surprised. Like we said, 5 star overall stay, with a few caveats.

Kathy's house is 4.8 miles away from EAA Oshkosh airshow, which was absolutely fabulous. She has a lovely 4 bedroom house (3 up/1 down) that is very clean and conducive to 8 people or less. She offered her car for rent ($450) for the week, but we had two vehicles. She will allow you to come early, if you pay for an extra day. Kathy was kind enough to buy us a loaf of bread, granola bars, 1 dozen eggs, milk, orange juice, and pecan cookies. The fees are high, but considering the airshow draws over 650,000+ people, all hotel and airbnb rates are at premium levels. We are glad that we didn't have to drive very far.

Very clean and spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. Becky is an incredible host. Highly recommend!

Overall our stay was very good. The only problem was the living room tv which we weren't able to get to work.

Kim was an amazing communicator and a great host. We had the codes to enter the house right away. Everything was better than described. Even local restaurant recommendations. Very easy access to HWY 41, with grocery and Walmart in less than a mile. Beautiful home and yard! Kim left care packages in each bathroom for the guests. She really made our stay over the top. Will stay with again! Thank you, Kim and Family!

Home was great for the week of Oshkosh! We were extremely comfortable, and Chase was always quick to respond with anything we needed. Would recommend!

Other than the fact the condo is somewhat small when sharing the rental with coworkers, it was a great place to stay. Everything I needed was there and it was super clean. Wifi, smart TV with Roku, air conditioning, washer and dryer. Etc. Also, Joy was wonderfully accommodating, genuinely interested in making sure our stay was great.

Jake is an AWESOME host and his place is fantastic! The location is perfect for a family attending the annual EAA event, and offers easy access to restaurants and shopping in and around Oshkosh. The quiet neighborhood and ample parking make this a great house to "retreat to" after a busy day. Jake's communication and flexibility were outstanding and made our entire experience with him very enjoyable. We certainly hope to visit again in the future!
