Loved the original wood lodge architecture. By far the best wooden cabin/lodge in Talkeetna. Almost everyone that walked past stopped to take photo’s. Inside it had everything you needed, fully equipped modern kitchen & appliances. A classic wooden fire place with plenty of comfy sofa’s to lounge around and also take in the views of airstrip. Highlights were the HOT TUB, easily fit 6 large adults, clean, well built and easy to use. The sauna was a lovely touch fit 2 adults easily and took less than 10min to warm up. Highly recommend this Air BnB, a beautiful property and great host.

Fantastic view of the frozen lake from the deck! We thought winter there would be boring and covered with white snow, but we were wrong. The iced lake reflected beautiful blue shade when sunrise and sunset. It is Amazing! We enjoyed our entire time staying at the property. From the windows of open spaces living room and dining room and from the deck, we can see open beautiful lake view. The house is big, beautiful, open spaces and by the beautiful lake. Feeling of welcome when we first stepped in. The house is very clean. We had everything that we needed there. Owner provided quality materials to use. Host Rebekah is very nice. She responded to our questions within a short period of time. A plus that I would giving for this house is the water came from the refrigerator tasted better than most other the water bottled. We appreciated water source in AK vs. CA I wish I could stay there longer. Definitely will come back.

Our family of five plus two grandparents just spent 5 nights at Mary Jane’ s place in Willow. We had an absolute blast. We drove an hour north to hike the Curry Ridge Trail with beautiful views of Denali national park. Then we went to Snowhook Adventures, about 10 minutes away, for a dog sled and Utv tour. This was a blast! The next day, we mined for gold near Talkeetna and took a train ride and jet boat tour with Mahay’s. The next day, we hiked ThunderBird Falls. All about an hour or less away. So the house was centrally located for all our adventures. Regarding the house, it was so ,comfortable, welcoming and nice and clean! I have never stayed in an Airbnb that had all the amenities that I value so readily available. Bear spray and water bottles for hikes, sharp knives, plenty of paper towels, laundry and cleaning supplies. I can’t recommend Mary Jane as a host and this property enthusiastically enough! Thanks so much for the great time!!

Cozy cabin was just as advertised. Khyle was responsive and close by. Clean linens, big pillows, clean shower, mini fridge with air fryer and microwave for amenities. Books up fast! Definitely would stay again.

Loved the area. Wasilla is only 45 min from Anchorage and an hour from Talkeetna. It was the perfect mix between experiencing the city and exploring the Alaskan wilderness.

Extremely grateful for having a place to stay for a couple of days considering we have kids and all. Everything was all we could ask for. Hope we could use the place again if ever we're in Anchorage.

No complaints. I loved that the kitchen was very well stocked and there were plenty of useful condiments. Having the extra toiletries was very nice. Great location between Anchorage and Wasilla. Both Jeff and his wife were friendly and so very nice to meet.

Was only going to stay a couple days, but the place was so great we asked to extend our trip. It was nice to be able to cook our own meals in a nice clean kitchen. Had plenty of cookware to use. Felt like a home away from home. Definitely would book this home again!

By far, the best rental I’ve had with AirBnb. The instructions for check-in were seamless, everything was set and ready to go, there were printed instructions on the counter with everything I needed to know, the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were well furnished and clean. It was exactly the kind of space that I needed after a long trip. A very positive and welcoming environment to stay at. It was obvious that my hosts were very intentional and professional. I’ve already highly recommended it to family for anyone visiting the area.

Kelly's rental is a cute one bedroom apartment with an additional sleeper sofa nestled amongst the trees. Special touches such as tea, coffee, fresh eggs, laundry soap, comfy pillows and plush towels make it feel like home! Kelly was very attentive and asked a few times, during our stay, if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay and found it close to many activities. If I was back in the Wasilla area I would absolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our night at Steph’s condo. It had a great view of the ocean and was walking distance from multiple Anchorage restaurants/bars. Steph was also super responsive and made the whole process feel seamless. Thank you for hosting us, Steph!

This is a great place to stay! Convenient to great restaurants, sights and a fantastic view. The accomodation is immaculate and extremely comfortable; the bonus extras of toiletries, coffee, chocolates and bottled water exceeds any expectations. Yes, you can hear the train whistle, but it didn’t bother us and half of Anchorage would be able to hear it I’m sure!

This was my second time staying at Luke’s Airbnb, and it was just as wonderful and perfectly stocked as I remembered it. Luke is always quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I loved waking up to the beautiful mountain view’s, and ending the night with the fire pit in the back was just the cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wasilla.

We had a wonderful stay! The space is very spacious and the location is absolutely prime—convenient to everything from trail to restaurant, which made getting around a breeze. While the building shows a bit of its age, the unit is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (love the selection of spices in the kitchen). I’d def recommend it for families or groups looking for a home base in anchorage.

Such an easy walk to downtown and the Coastal Trail. The view could not have been better, looking over the water at Denali was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. This was the perfect place for two nights for my Mom, brother, and me. Good directions, ample parking, comfortable beds, good pots/utensils for cooking simple meals, adjustable heat, helpful book with activity and food suggestions, and sufficient hot water for two back to back showers.
