Not enough kind things to say about our experience! So peaceful, Sarah is responsive, very clean and cozy. Great are for walking to the lake. Comfy beds. We highly recommend!

Weston’s place was exactly what we needed after a long expedition on Denali. We were a large group of climbers returning right after Memorial Day weekend — when everything in Talkeetna was completely booked — and Weston came through in a big way. He was incredibly helpful and flexible, even getting us in a day early on short notice. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to rest, regroup, and recover. It was the perfect spot for our team to decompress after the mountain. We’re so grateful for Weston’s hospitality and responsiveness — couldn’t have asked for a better host in a pinch. Highly recommended, especially for anyone coming off the mountain and needing a great place to land!

This is the third time I have stayed at this home. It has served my non-profit organization well as we transition from Kenai to Denali. The town of Talkeetna is always a favorite stop for my participants and staff. The home provides us a respite from the town activities at night and gives us a chance to enjoy what is offered.

Colleen’s place is the best! It was so nice to be there. We loved our time there!

What a wonderful stay. The cabin was roomy , clean and comfortable and so close to the village.

Perfect for our weekend needed in town. The fact that it was dog friendly meant we could bring our well behaved dogs and enjoy our weekend in town. Super great! House was perfect and comfortable for all!

Duronda’s place was very cute and very close to the downtown. It was very cozy and felt right at home.

Such a cute yurt! So close to Anchorage so it’s not too long of a drive. Beautiful lake views with a short walk. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for better.

The bed was very comfortable. This is a very clean and cozy cabin in a wonderful setting. If you’re not comfortable with steep stairs or you need to take very long showers, you may want to look elsewhere, otherwise I highly recommend this place for an Alaskan getaway!

the place was in a nice peaceful area. the inside was great nice clean great space. Tasha was great always responsive. We ended up having to stay an extra day because my sister's van broke down in talkeetna. Tasha and Joshua went out of their way to make sure we got back safe and checked up to make sure we were good. I appreciate that it makes a difference. if I ever came back to talkeetna for a weekend I'd stay here again. thank you tasha and Joshua. this was a great experience recommend this place to everyone

We had a wonderful stay there. The room was very clean. They provided all the necessary stuff. They also provided some delicious snacks. Definitely we will stay there again if we visit Alaska in the future.

We loved this place! Immaculately clean. Entry was easy. We spent the weekend in the surrounding area - Hatcher Pass, Fireside Books, Reindeer Farm. My kids loved the loft and the backyard swing. Very private but close to attractions. Kitchen had everything we needed: we cooked at home for all meals, including making cookies from scratch. LOVED the two full bathrooms and thoughtful touches like dental floss which I forgot to bring. Toys and games for kids provided. Thanks for the wonderful house, Whitney!

Paid attention to the back yard but didn't see a moose come thru. Plenty of droppings so they are there! Comfortable stay in all ways. I didn't find anything lacking. Very clean. Would return again. Thank you!

Nice cabin with all the amenities needed for a great stay.

Overall, we had a nice/fun stay at Destiny’s! The place was clean, and quiet! The s’mores and hot tub were a nice touch! Destiny was very communicative and was quite helpful when we had to deal with some technical issues with Airbnb. The only issue for us was that the hot tub was too close to the host’s residence. The camper was not very far either, it was within earshot/eye-view of the host’s house so it did not feel very private or secluded. Although, this was the case, it should be noted that the hosts were very quiet, and respectful! Thank you kindly for your hospitality!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Andy's place was amazing. Beautiful scenery. Amazing to wake up to the lake. It was nice to fish the lake in front of the house and catch some trout. Taking the boat out on the lake was amazing. Moose visitors were a daily occurrence. Andy was extremely helpful with any questions and very responsive. I couldn't ask for better. If you are looking in the area, stop looking and book this place!

Great place! Had everything as described and then some. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen . Hot tub was great, saw a moose walk up just below the deck as we hung out. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in Palmer area.

Joe and Leslie were great hosts, they provided us coffee, goodies and fresh eggs as an unexpected serendipity. They were very responsive to any questions. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The place and surrounding area was extremely quiet. I slept great every night! Thank you Joe and Leslie, for your attention to detail!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Canoe Cabin! Jennifer and Jay have created such a warm, inviting space—it’s clear they’ve thought of every detail to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The cabin was perfect for our weeklong stay with our two children and their spouses. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home made it feel like a true getaway. The kitchen was especially well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy several home-cooked meals together, which made our time even more special. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality Jennifer and Jay put into this place. Canoe Cabin is a gem—we would absolutely love to return!

A wonderful cabin for some time away! Right next to a boat rental where you can get out on the water, and absolutely beautiful view!
