Hawthorn Cottage, Dartmoor

JonnyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

The Barn, cosy with amazing views.

A 10 star Air BnB - everything was simply outstanding; from the delicate pink roses on the garden fence outside the front door, beautifully appointed fittings and furnishings, super comfy bed, great shower, lovely kitchen with everything one could need and more but also really thoughtful touches, like a home-made cream tea and flowers on arrival, coffee and tea, to the added bonuses of lovely hand soap, fluffy towels, bread, butter and eggs. This - and all set within the grounds of such a beautiful house and garden and *quiet*, quite honestly the best stay away and we’d love to come back! THANKYOU so so much, Sharron it was simply *wonderful* and we were made to feel so very welcome by you, and all the love and effort you’ve put into making it such a special place for others to enjoy was not unnoticed nor unappreciated. Hope to see you again! Anna x

The Hayloft - Boutique self-contained studio barn

KelseyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a fantastic stay! Joe and Sarah were responsive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The lodging is only a five minute walk from the sweet town of Ashburton which boasts cute shops and fantastic food (Rafikis and Emilia were so tasty!). It was a great spot for us to call home for a few days while hiking in Dartmoor. The barn is spacious and sweetly decorated. We’d happily return! Thanks, Joe and Sarah!
An inviting entrance to a stone cottage showcases double French doors, which open to a pebbled outdoor area. Potted greenery and a small table with a set of cups and flowers can be seen, while a wooden gate leads to a scenic garden view.

Cosy walker’s retreat in The Old Mill on Dartmoor

RosieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most delightful stay in the Annexe. We were immediately welcomed with a personalised note and the most gorgeous interior, we felt spoilt rotten! The fresh beautiful peonies, milk already in the fridge and the Luscombe drinks were delightful touches. Despite only staying 2 nights, throughout our stay we kept mentioning about what a perfect spot it was. Thank you so much Russ and Sam, we hope to be back one day!
