The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

The cottage was previously owned by the Armstrong family owners of Craigside and Bambrugh Castle. In the past its been a post office and a sweet shop. It is a light open and airy property decorated in a coastal theme. The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.

Sunrise Cottage is a modern and stylish 2 bedroom home. It can accomodate a family of 4 or 2 couples. There are 2 free parking bays available. There are 2 toilets and there is a washing machine. It is situated on the main road into the town. The stairs are steep and the bath/shower is deep so the property would not be recommended for anyone with mobility issues. No stagg or hen parties, no smoking and no pets.
