Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Whitley Bay

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Loved this place and would go back, we were very well looked after and the small touches were great like the chocolates and milk in the fridge. The BBQ area outside was great. It’s right next to a train line but it didn’t really bother us. Dogs are welcome and the only slight improvement would be to make the garden secure as dogs can get out onto the road so we had to keep them on leads. Even a temporary security would be most welcome as it makes for a more relaxing stay. Jenn

It is a really nice place to stay, lovely private garden and watching the birds on the bird feeder was amazing, I counted over 10 different species! The beds & pillows were excellent and my daughter & I slept really well. Excellent Airbnb

Great stay for a family wedding at Tyne Bank Brewery. Lottie was very communicative and flexible with arrival and departure times which was appreciated when flight times were changed.

The house was fabulous, so homely with luxurious touches, bedding, furniture to name just a few. Well equiped with dishwasher etc. Parking directly outside with permits supplied. Wendy responded quickly and checked all was well with us. A wonderful stay.

The purpose of our two-night visit was to spend a day at the Beamish open-air museum, and it was well worth the long journeys (two from Bristol, one from Brighton). Melanie was very kind in allowing us to postpone the date of the visit because I had a heart attack just before the original date. The house was fine, just as expected and described, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Only three very minor improvements I can think of: the kitchen knives are blunt and we couldn't find a sharpener in the drawer; we couldn't find the green box for recycling glass; there were several plug-in 'air fresheners', but we soon found them and switched them off, and the smell quickly faded. A very happy weekend all round, many thanks.

A very comfortable apartment in a brilliant setting, ideal for a week away. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Loads of walks nearby, Cragside a couple of miles away. Andy and Lyd were friendly and helpful and the provision of bird seed to feed our feathered visitors was a very nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

A lovely, spacious apartment with lovely bees across to Warkworth castle. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. It’s in a great location for walking into Amble and exploring the southern part of Northumberland.

Linda's apartment was just perfect for our stay. Absolutely spotless, everything you could possibly want was available. Great location, 5 minute walk to the Metro then just 3 stops into the city centre or a little bit longer to the coast. Linda was lovely, very welcoming with great communication. Absolutely 5*. We loved staying in this property in Rothbury. Lots to do and see nearby and we loved visiting Cragside. The property was exactly as described and Andrew was very helpful with any queries we had. We would definitely visit again and recommend.

Neat, clean and spacious apartment. Excellent provisions for children (would note there are split level stairs if your child is mobile) and felt very welcomed.
