Superb detached house, in quiet location with a cosy feel despite being very large. Amazing views and spacious gardens ideal for adventurous kids. We had a lovely time here with extended family and the hosts have thoughtfully included everything needed for an easy home from home feel. Would highly recommended staying here.

Brocklebank was the perfect peaceful sanctuary before a busy month of 60th birthday celebrations for my husband. The weather was mixed from absolutely pouring down when we arrived to cracking the flags the next day….we walked along the quiet beach, talked, read books and drank wine….. we will be back x

School Ellis was such a piece of paradise! We had our first girls' trip to the Lakes and we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the long weekend. The house is so cosy, in such beautiful surroundings, and Malcolm's instructions were super clear and helpful! It felt so refreshing to be immersed in nature with so many beautiful walks at our doorstep!

Great home from home everything we needed was there to make our stay relaxing . Beach was 5 minute walk with more walks for dog all from house. Grocery shop at top of Lane has everything you need and very reasonable priced. Tracy's house is a great base for enjoying lake district and would certainly stay again 😀.
