Waterfront vacation rentals in Wheeler Lake

Very relaxing stay! Although it rained all the days we were there, it was great family bonding time with many games played and time spent fishing when we could. The house was as advertised. Only a couple of minor things came up that in no way hindered our stay. It would be normal things that would happen at your own home. Roger was always quick to respond with answers to questions that we had and was very helpful during the booking process. All of our kids made the statement that they would rather come back and stay here than go on a big trip. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy family time, this place is perfect for just that! Perfect place to stay for close access to Smith Lake Park. Boat trailer parking was easy right outside the front door and outside electrical hookup for batteries. Great little spot to stay at Smith Lake.

Savanna was a fantastic host and the home is exactly as shown. My daughter and I stayed here for 10 nights for the 8U softball world series and it was a fantastic home away from home for us during our time there. The neighbors were friendly, the area is very safe and quiet, and the home is open and spacious and has lots of open space. It is fully livable for anyone having long stays and the back patio is a cool spot to hang out. I will definitely try to book this property again next year if the opportunity arises. We loved our stay!! It was easy to locate and we had no problems getting checked in. The home was clean and there was plenty of space to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Martha and Roy occupy the main home & we saw them during our visit, but they were both so kind and welcoming. They provided us some great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The stay was very close to town. We definitely recommend the stay!

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was lovely. The view and access to the river were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. The location was a reasonable ride from the airport and close to our family in Florence. It was a great place for us to stay.

Nina was a great host. Property was very beautiful. We enjoyed waking up to look outside. The porch was my favorite part, sitting outside in the beautiful rocking chairs, looking at the lake and listening to the birds. We will definitely book this property again.

We absolutely loved this place! The kids especially enjoyed the pool — it was a major highlight and made the trip even more fun. The home is secluded, which gave us peace and privacy, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel extra special. The bathroom was stunning, and the sauna was such a great bonus. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and just beautiful. Although we had to travel an hour to Huntsville for our activities, we didn’t mind the drive at all because we knew we were coming back to such a wonderful home. The host was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place — we’d definitely stay again!

The place was great for a family lake trip with our younger boys. Well stocked, clean, and nice amenities for everyone. The hosts were incredibly responsive and on top of any questions or needs we sent their way.

Exactly as described and more. The kitchen was well appointed. Extra little thoughtful touches, coffee, creamer and sugar, plastic baggies, garbage bags etc. we didn’t have to run out for anything. The place was super clean. The bathroom also thought of every little detail. Loved the back porch! Sat out there in the mornings for coffee. Comfortable front room. Yard was beautiful. David was a great host! He checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going good. He even shared some fishing secrets with us!!!

We were a party of 4 adults in town for a wedding. It rained the majority of the time we were there, but we could just sit back, relax and enjoy the storms on the screened porch as they rolled through. Loved that! Beds were so comfortable and what a stocked kitchen! Wow!! I have used online rental homes for 20 years and this was the best stocked home I have ever been to! Chris is so accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. The home is decorated with such cute and unique things, we loved it! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

It’s the most convenient place to stay! Walkable to many restaurants and downtown shops! It was clean and quiet!

Jennifer was a great host. The condo was very clean, well stocked and has great views. The boat slip is very convenient and central to anything in Arley.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a quiet place to do remote work it is perfect. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony while sipping mimosas and working on my laptop with my fishing pole cast out. I appreciated the fully furnished kitchen. I also loved the great water pressure in the shower with hot water. One other cool thing I adored was the tin ceiling. Thank you for the wonderful experience Chuck, we appreciate you!

Condo needs updating and some maintenance but it was a great stay Loved the ground floor for easy access. The condo was very clean Easy checkout.

Chelsea’s place was a wonderful weekend getaway. The condo was clean and extremely nice. There were walkable restaurants that were delicious. The pool and swings on the docks were a perfect way to spend the gorgeous weekend. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!
