Each cottage has a built-in King bed with memory foam mattress, a kitchenette with a coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, glasses, and cutlery, and even a small refrigerator. Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The Bamboo House

Welcome to Bamboo House. It's a 3br/2ba ranch style house. We call it Bamboo House because of the large bamboo that lines the back of our property. We are conveniently located 5 miles from I-65. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. The master has a Queen size bed with dressers and TV. The master bath has a small stand up shower with closet. The additional bedroom has 2 twin beds with a large closet. There is also a designated office with a large desk.

Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
