We had a really nice visit. One thing that stood out was how peaceful and quiet it was. It felt like we were in the countryside. We both slept well and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic, it was a few minutes walk to the city walls and very close to York minster. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend the apartment. Many thanks

Ben was a great host he responded to all enquiries and provided clear information regarding check in. The apartment is a flat 10 minute walk from York train station and also to Micklegate one the entrances to the town centre. The apartment is in a modern development and seemed very new. If self catering there is a small Tesco nearby. One minor suggestion is the addition of some wine glasses and a mixing bowl other than that we really enjoyed the apartment

Great communication from the hosts prior to arriving, did not need to contact during our stay. The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable into the centre within minutes. Very well equipped kitchen , with many utensils, glasses, plates etc. Lovely living room with a comfy sofa and added bonus of Apple TV, plus a DVD player with a selection found in the bedroom. Great double bedroom, with blackout blind, wardrobe and drawers. All in all we had a fabulous 2 night stay in an amazing private apartment! Thanks for our stay 😄

Well placed for all the amenities of York, station, restaurants and so on. Good secure parking, close to bus routes but walkable to the centre. Very quiet and peaceful stay.

Just lovely. The location of the apartment is in a little green oasis very close to Hyde Park. The apartment itself is actually quite big and very comfortable and warm. Best of all, breakfast - eggs, bacon, bread, butter, milk - were all provided so we didn’t need to nip to the shops for essentials. We had a really enjoyable stay. Thanks to Martin and Carmen, we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

Ian's place is in a great location. it is peaceful and easily walkable into the town centre. The house is well presented and homely with lots of added extras. We ate at the Mucky Duck one evening and had some lovely pizzas the following night from Pizza Pizza, both of these meals were lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of them. We would definitely stay again and recommend a stay here if you are wanting a home stay in Harrogate.

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Paul sent excellent directions for us to make our way from the train station and then he met us upon our arrival. This accommodation is very bright, clean and comfortable and in a fantastic location. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to make our own meals. All the kitchen ware is a very nice quality. Paul left us a generous welcome package of fruit and treats which was greatly appreciated. Paul is a caring and attentive host and it was lovely to meet him. We look forward to our next visit. We had a lovely stay and especially enjoyed walking a short distance and catching the bus into the city every day. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful fresh flowers and nice hamper of provisions made it even more special.

Fantastic stay, honestly a 9.8 out of 10. Pro's: - 5 min walk to the shop and 7 min walk to the pub. 25 min walk to town or 8 min drive. - Spacious, lots of room to relax - The kitchen had every utensil: microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, even spices!! - The living room was cosy and Vic left a small bottle of prosecco for us (very kind) - Massive mirrors and a very comfortable bed - Extra towels and sheets - Large shower, decent pressure Con's - The shower heat couldn't be adjusted - perhaps a small fix? - Wifi is a little slow if you want to watch films or videos, but not a major issue Would recommend and stay again.

We have used jonathons's place a number of times now as the location is perfect for our annual visit to leeds. Each time we have visited the apartment it has been clean, well kept and stocked with milk, coffee, tea and sugar allowing you to settle in once arrived. clear instructions for check in and parking have always been provided and a small folder left out for local recommendations. would highly recommend as a host and would stay again (which will look at doing again soon)
