The old water mill

CharlieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed for 6 nights & it felt like home from home, it is a very charming little flat which for 2 people had everything you needed. It was very clean, well equipped, plenty of hot water & efficient heating for the cooler evenings. It is in a beautiful location with parking available, & walking distance to the Alma Pub, although some of it is uphill. We slept well & found the location very peaceful. Probably the only small criticism would be the condensation in the bathroom as there is no window. But there is a fan that comes on with the light & we also discovered another fan in the small vestibule. We loved staying here & would recommend if you’re looking for a quirky comfy property in heart of West Yorkshire. David was great with responding to any questions & queries. Thank you we had a lovely stay.

Rob Royd Barn Annex, double bedroom & bathroom

We were really happy with our stay. The first lace is furnished and decorated beautifully to a high standard. There was tea and coffee available and even some cute little decorations. The hungry horse was a really cool feature. The hot tub was spacious, perfectly clean and with the most perfect views! The hosts gave us our space whilst also checking in to make sure we were happy with everything.

Garden studio with a view

BeckyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A much needed retreat, after a busy few days taking part in Saltaire makers fair. Lisa's garden studio was perfect, with everything I needed. I felt immediately at home iny own space, but very much felt that if I needed anything Lisa was close at hand. the view from the window was stunning, not what I was expecting from a basement flat! lots of interesting walks nearby, plenty of local shops for essentials.

Titus - A hidden gem with stunning views

NeilRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Had a lovely few days at Titus. Wow what a stunning location with views to die for! The space was beautifully decorated and clean, yet homely with all the home comforts you'll ever need. Great communications with the hosts, who went the extra mile to help us out when a local utility went down. Would definitely recommend.

The Tree Cabin

Amazing stay in the most gorgeous and peaceful place! Tony and Barbara were both lovely - so accommodating and even gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine when we arrived as it was my birthday! The Airbnb itself is charming and so well equipped for its size, plus, it feels private and cosy despite being a short walk to a local shop and pub. We loved the fact that the kitchen was kitted out with Barbara’s handmade pottery, and bought some mugs from her as a little souvenir. I’m going to miss waking up to the sound of birds and the beautiful view of the pond - I’ll even miss the outdoor shower, which is UNREAL by the way! Thanks again for the best stay!

Fantastic walks & views 10mins from Sculpture Park

HansRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We found Sally to be very communicative before our arrival and we only met Dean whilst we were there but he greated us with a warm welcome and gave us lots of recommendations in the local area. The accommodation was tastefully decorated, impecibally clean and in a stunning location. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we will definitely recommend it to anyone that we know who wants to stay in the area. The reason for our visit was to do a Bee Keeping Experience at Dunnys Bees which is only 10 minutes down the road which we would definitely recommend for something a little different. We prebooked to eat at the restaurant across the road from the property (3 Acres) and would highly recommend this too as the food and service was fantastic. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay so thank for having us.

Amazing stay! Beautiful view from the bedroom which was lovely in the morning. The place itself was super clean, tidy and cosy. Already reccomended it to my parents who have booked in for July. We will also definitely be back! The crossroads inn was a great reccomendation. We had a fantastic dinner here with great service. We also tried the spring head for breakfast which was another great reccomendation. Hebden bridge was beautiful and we got to visit lumb falls too!

Spacious basement flat in beautiful Calderdale

LisaRating, 5 starstoday
We had a lovely stay here. Sue was there when we arrived to welcome us but had also sent me the code for the lock in case she wasn’t there. Great communication before hand . The flat was lovely and cosy. Coffee teas , fresh milk and juice. Bread/ eggs/ cereal for breakfast. A bathroom to die for . Jacuzzi bath with separate shower. A cupboard filled with of toiletries. Fresh/ soft and fluffy towels. Only negative was the floor boards were a little squeaky . Hopefully us being up till 3am didn’t keep people awake . Location chosen as not far in a taxi from a wedding venue we were attending. Happily recommend . Brighouse is a lovely little town We arrive on a 1940’s weekend festive so lots to do and see during the day. Highly recommend .
