Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Situated in a quiet, residential area on Weston hillside, this s/c Annexe with sea view comprises double bedroom, lounge (with sofa bed), kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps 2. Extra guest fee £30 pp pn. Dedicated parking space. It's a short walk to the seafront and the many amenities in Weston-super-mare and very close to Weston Woods and the lovely Prince Consort Gardens. The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally separate and self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to each of the 2 bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher. In the utility room there is a washing and tumble drier.

Cottage retreat by the seaside

This private cottage is in the heart of Clevedon with easy access to the Clevedon beach front from great coastal walks and to visit our Grade 1* pier. There are also some lovely local restaurants to choose from if you do not want to cook. Great for couples, business travellers and families (with kids who like sofa beds). There is a nice TV, WiFi and we are about to install a wood burner to compliment the air conditioning system for the cottage venting in the bedroom and living space.
