Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Westmoreland County

Jayme hosts a 2 bedroom trailer nearby to Somerset (village with restaurants and bars and chain restaurants) and close to 3 ski resorts. My friend and I enjoyed the grill and relaxing here after skiing each day.

Overall stay was great. The house was just what we needed. Great location!! Dana is very quick to respond to all my questions and we all loved the fresh baked cookies from the local bakery. Thank you so much. Would definitely book with her again.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Mint to Be. It was exactly as pictured and was a quiet, beautiful place to spend our girls’ weekend. Anni was very friendly and responsive, and all instructions regarding check in/check out were very clear!

I’ve stayed at Holly Haven, at least four or five times, and it never disappoints. What I love the most?? The neighborhood. Great neighbors. Great dogs. Everyone always waves hello. Super peaceful, and yet, just a quick drive to downtown Philly St. Inside?? Big cozy beds. Two roomy bathrooms. I just always feel at home, as soon as we turn into the neighborhood, and at the end of street, up the driveway, all stresses melt away. Thank you, Chris & Stephanie!

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Tree Lodge! We were never sitting around looking for things to do because there were so many activities available! The kids and adults all enjoyed kayaking, playing games, sitting around the fire pit, searching for salamanders, fishing, and relaxing. The space was absolutely perfect for our large family. We never felt overcrowded and loved spending time together! Would definitely recommend.

Pretty spot next to the river. A quick ride over the bridge from the GAP trail and a storage shed for bikes makes this a great place for GAP riders. I enjoyed meeting the other riders staying there.

Had a great stay! Enjoyed the solitude and peaceful atmosphere. It was just what I needed. Lots of personal touches... I appreciated that it was not a cookie cutter Big Lots/Ikea place.

Rafaela is a very thoughtful and lovely host. Communication was excellent. The place is beautiful and with nice appliances. Rafaela left a number of thoughtful notes and details. It made me feel very welcomed! I recommend the place to anyone wanting to spend some days away from more hectic environments. I do recommend making sure to use the earplugs provided as traffic can something be loud in this corner location.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was perfect! It was clean and beautifully decorated. All of the windows facing the river were the perfect setting for our morning coffee. It was roomy enough for my family without being on top of each other. It was convenient to many bars, brewerys, and restaurants. The host responded very quickly with any questions we had. We had a great time and would definitely book a stay there again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place w me and my family!

Such a perfect place to stay. The generously equipped kitchen made it possible for me to spontaneously bake a birthday cake for the friend I was visiting. The beds were super comfy and the apartment itself was very unique and beautiful with all the dark wood. Parking is super easy and it’s close to lots of things.

Excellent host, very responsive and accommodating! He was helpful and patient with my tech -challenged sister who couldn't figure out the app, and he easily worked out our extra nights' stay on last minute notice. There was a tornado during our stay and the power went out, Shannon was right there with flashlights, lanterns, and a portable phone charger. Our car was stuck behind a downed tree and Shannon was happy to give us an extended check out time until the tree was removed. The home was perfect, just big enough that our pitbull had space but small enough to feel like a cozy cabin in the woods. And in the woods it is! For the suburban area it's in, the house itself is surrounded by woods, small fields, and a Christmas tree farm and was lovely to take our pup walking in! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place that their fur friends will feel comfortable and at home in. We will definitely be back in the near future!

While we were only here at 28 acres for one evening, we really enjoyed our time there. Travelled in May 2025. The space was very comfortable, and property and backyard was so peaceful and serene. My wife and I got up to watch the sunrise over the forest in the backyard chaises and had blankets provided. Having great weather during the trip allowed us to enjoy the lovely backyard. Ginny & Jim were kind hosts and also let us do our own thing and maintain our privacy!

Jess went above and beyond as a host and provided suggestions throughout the weekend. We felt like locals! The cabin was so cozy for a friends/couples weekend. The game room was a bonus surprise and so fun for a group! The hot tub was extremely clean and so relaxing after a day of hiking. We all can’t wait to return. The cabin is a GEM! The best part about our stay was the fenced in yard. Our dogs could run and play outside without being attached to a leash. The inside was adorable and extremely clean! I have severe pet allergies and I worried that I would be miserable all weekend, but I only sneezed a handful of times! We had everything we need to make dinner one night, which was nice because we didn’t have to take the dogs anywhere or leave them alone (I wouldn’t trust them). We will definitely be back!

It all starts with great communication. Michael answered every question and also helped with check in and our needs. We so enjoyed the private surroundings and easy to find. Plenty of towels and linens. Every room was unique. The first floor felt like you were in a cozy and rustic cabin. Then you retired upstairs to very spacious bedrooms. A real unique set up! The outside area was equally impressive. We loved the fire pit area close enough to the house to make it enjoyable to go in and out with ease. The covered deck and hot tub is a bonus, easily accessed from 2 rooms on the first floor. And what a view from on top looking down on to the private pond. I would suggest maybe stocking some larger fish. Back to the kitchen which had plenty of cookware and service. We are coming back next year for sure!

Loved our stay in octagon home, the host Alex was very responsive and the home is situated in the woods, very private. The house was very clean. The linens were very comfortable. The furniture was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Whenever I travel, I make sure to book somewhere that reminds me of home. Timothy’s property is remote and peaceful, he and his wife are extremely friendly/helpful, and they make visiting such a joy. I definitely plan on booking again any time I come to town to visit old friends. What relaxation!

We had an amazing girls’ weekend at Frank’s place! He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, promptly providing extra towels and responding quickly to all our questions. Frank is truly a fantastic host. The space was comfortable, well-suited to our needs, and made our getaway perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

We came from the other side of the state to celebrate two big family events for the weekend. We needed space to visit with family as well as to prep for an off property grad party - the kitchen had everything we needed & the space to visit with family while we were in the area. Being able to bring out two dogs with us was a huge perk and great last minute decision. The location is quiet, easy to find and the hosts were so kind! The beds were comfortable and had the weather been better it would have been a great place to enjoy the private outdoor space. We hope this location is available for us the next time we visit!
