Vacation rentals with breakfast in Westmoreland County

My best friend and I booked with Walsa and stayed two nights as our “home base / accommodation” while visiting the famous Frank Lloyd Wright homes just south in the Mill Run area of south eastern Pennsylvania. The beds were cozy, the entire home and our room was tidy and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Very little light pollution made star gazing while enjoying the hot tub infinitely relaxing. Parking was more than sufficient and secure. Both her and her husband were extremely friendly conversationalists that made us feel welcome and at home to the point where I had to remind myself they were Airbnb hosts and not long lost relatives. Walsa is also quite the iron chef which made starting each day an absolute treat! After hours of researching places within a 2 hours drive of Mill Run I can confidently say I picked the best accommodation by a land slide. Whenever I come back to the area, there is no question, I’ll be staying with Walsa!

Kelly’s place was in a quiet neighborhood near the groceries, Target, and restaurants. The bedroom and the bathroom was spotless. The bedroom offered a great view of the backyard full of trees.

Larry and Geri are fantastic hosts that went above and beyond to make sure our stay was worth it. We spent only one night there prior to a Steelers game and they were very helpful w suggestions on getting around town as well as donning our breakfast table w fantastic Steelers memorabilia!! The whole house is packed full of stories and Larry is more than willing to share them while Geri whipped up a glorious breakfast spread!). 😊 Lots of history in the house and extremely interesting to hear all about it. Larry and Geri are very hospitable and are eager to please their guests. We were more than satisfied with our choice to stay with them and are very much looking forward to a longer stay very soon!

Kate and Dee are great hosts, always there to answer questions, it’s a quiet neighborhood with easy and quick access to highway. Grocery and several restaurants in the area. You can be as private as you want or hangout downstairs. I’ll miss the morning coffee and my Izzy bath! Thanks for a great stay!

The host is very accommodating to the needs of the guests, plenty of activities to occupy your time. And peaceful atmosphere that someone of any age will enjoy.

Walsa was very hospitable and friendly. This was our 2nd stay and it was just as nice as the first time. The bathroom is just beautiful and came with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we could adjust the temperature in our bedroom to make it just the right temperature for us. We enjoyed both mornings breakfast. There are always snacks and hot or cold drinks available. We look forward to our next trip to Indiana with Walsa and her husband.

Beautiful B&B located perfectly aside the Great Allegheny Passage. It was a perfect stop during our 150 mile 🚲 journey from Cumberland to Pittsburgh. Excellent breakfast was served in the morning with delicious coffee. It was also nice to chat with other bike riders from all over the country during our stay. Highly recommend!

It was a beautiful location to to stay. Great hospitality.

The place was very relaxing and peaceful. We were able to come and go as we please without any issue getting into our room. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and warm. The atmosphere was luxorious and well designed with great artwork, beautiful curtains and rich colors everywhere. Breakfast was great and Pat even had little snacks all through out the house which is a nice little bonus. We definitely recommend this place for those looking for a relaxing getaway. Our stay in the attic apartment was incredible! The mansion is full of history and takes you back to its time from your first step in! Pat was very welcoming, gave us a tour of the whole mansion and gave us local food recommendations as well as an insight to her story - she is a fascinating woman! The breakfast was top notch - the whole experience was top notch! I can’t recommend enough! Thank you again for hosting us - made my birthday weekend most memorable!

My 12-year-old and I had a great visit. The host was on site when we arrived. She was very friendly and welcoming. Over the course of our stay, we learned a lot about cows and the dairy industry. My daughter loved being able to pet the calves and sheep. And we both enjoyed walking around — including through the flower field — and relaxing on the porch and in glider in the yard. The house had a lot of unique furniture and other details that I really enjoyed looking at. Breakfast was delicious and included products produced from the farm’s milk. We had a great visit and look forward to returning.

This is amazing B&B. Restored extremely nicely while keeping a lots of the originals - flooring, doors, furniture and much more. Pat is very knowledgable about the history of the house. Great host!

Really beautiful, historic, yet recently renovated b&b. Pat was very friendly and accommodating with the breakfast time and menu (my partner is vegan). The food was tasty. The hot tub was a nice touch! Sound isolation between the two rooms in the carriage house is not great but it wasn’t a huge deal. The room itself, with the fireplace, comfy bed, and tasteful decor was excellent. Overall a recommended stay.

Our stay at Pats guest house was great, easy check in and the space was beautiful.

What a beautiful place with wonderful people! I work remotely, so my presence is rather intrusive, but Moire and her family were so generous with their hospitality that everything was just easy. I'm also an amateur photographer. In addition to the cute farm animals there were deer, lots of different colored birds, tons of fish in the pond, and the most picturesque oak tree. The two doggies are adorable and affectionate. Breakfasts were fabulous. Sometimes she even starts them the night before. Yum, yum! I had car trouble. She referred me to a mechanic who didn't gouge me. Because I would be without a car, Moire offered dinner in the house with the family. Absolutely delicious! A special evening. What a fun time I had making new friends.

Pat is an amazing host with lots of information about the area. The breakfast in the dining room was delicious and she made special accommodations for our gluten free friend. Check-in was easy and Pat was very responsive to questions. Thank you for a nice stay. Britt
