Romantic cottage for 2 with wood fired hot tub

RuthRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

An open-plan interior of the glamping pod is highlighted by a wooden ceiling and walls. A spacious bed is positioned alongside a small kitchen area with a sink and coffee maker. Natural light enters through a large skylight and glass doors leading to an outdoor space.

Buttercup Pod 💚 🌳 Beautiful and luxury Glamping

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Buttercup pod was even more than we had hoped. The perfect place for a peaceful weekend with our 3 & 5 year olds. The pod itself is beyond beautiful (bunk beds were a hit) but it was the outdoor space that really blew us away. It truly felt like we were the only people for miles - the children rode their bikes and explored the surroundings for hours, toasted marshmallows in the fire pit, made pizzas in the pizza oven, and we lost count of time spent in the hot tub. Rowland was super helpful and even let us check in early so we could enjoy the better weather which we really appreciated, and responded to any queries super quickly. We would 100% recommend buttercup pod. It was just perfect.

A sandy beach is visible, with gentle waves lapping at the shore. The sea is a mix of blues and greens under a clear sky dotted with soft white clouds. A distant white building is positioned on a green hillside, adding to the coastal scenery.

A Quirky Cottage Modbury 20 mins beach & Dartmoor

JudithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely quirky house in this beautiful little town which has local shops, pub and small supermarket. Marnie had thought of everything …and more. Felt really homely. Very comfortable bed which is one of my priorities. Spotlessly clean with lovely fixtures and furnishings. Shame I was not able to stay longer.

Unique vacation cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is very far from the usual holiday home. There were lashings of hot water, the kitchen knives were properly sharp, there were more bathrooms than we needed and there were things of beauty everywhere. And that is before mentioning the wonderful view from the house and terrace - we had to drag ourselves away sometimes - the huge safe garden for children to play in and the magical walk through old woods to the beach. After more than fifty years of family holidays we all agreed it was the best place we have ever stayed,

Gorgeous Chapel Cottage in quaint Devon village.

WenleiRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We, family of 4 with 2 teens, loved our stay in Janice’s cottage. It was an amazing home away from home during our weeklong stay here for a wedding. We had everything we could’ve needed to make a few meals during our stay. Janice was quick to respond when we had questions, which we totally appreciated. As for location, Ermington is a cute little town central to getaways in South Devon. Not much in the town itself, except a pub next door, which provided quite a bit of ambient noise every night 😁. Mothecombe Beach is a cute beach 15 minutes away and worth the drive - we had amazing poke from La Cuisine, the food truck near the parking lot. Farther out is Salcombe, Bigbury, Plymouth and other towns worth the trek. If we ever return to the area, we will be sure to return!

Crows Nest Hut on Cuckoo Farm

We enjoyed our glamping-like stay in this wonderfully quiet spot, so close to nature - a little oasis of its own. Janet is a very warm and welcoming host and we hope to visit again one day.

Seafront Beach House with Panoramic Views

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Will be back with the family. Thank you. George W
