A charming, Grade 2 listed country cottage, dating from the 1700’s. Located in the village of Sedlescombe, which retains its charm of an old English village, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Recently renovated, the cottage has been refurbished to a high standard. With underfloor heating in the bespoke wet room & a magnificent copper style bath in the bedroom. Whilst downstairs the cosy sitting room benefits from a wood burning stove & the spacious kitchen leads to a courtyard garden.

Cozy and warm in winter, gloriously sunny in summer! There are fabulous walks on the doorstep and it is perfect for exploring 1066 country with Hastings, Battle and Rye just a few miles away. Great local pubs, lovely villages, beautiful beaches and lots to do and see. TV, WiFi, Alexa and parking. Dogs are very welcome.

We spent a lot of time an effort creating something that you'd want to come back to and we can't wait to welcome you! It's newly refurbished with a private entrance and lock key box, only 2 minutes walk from the train, 3 minutes from bars, restaurants and shopping, and 6 from the beach. With a comfortable king size bed with hotel bedding, 42" tv and a rainfall shower in the travertine mosaic tiled wet room. Free parking outside outside 11-1pm on weekdays and all the time 50m up the road.

The Old Town Annexe is a 12 minute stroll to the Historic Hastings Old Town and is on the cusp of the beautiful Hastings Country Park with it's wonderful walks and breathtaking views. The Annexe is self contained and benefits from off road parking, accessed via a pathway, and its own outdoor area with bistro table and seating. Internally there is a private bathroom with shower over bath, tea and coffee making facilities, milk and breakfast cereals, fridge, double bedroom and a sofa bed.

Ridge Cottage (detached)

Detached, spacious & totally modernised cottage in peaceful setting. Large secluded south facing garden. Garden furniture & gas bbq. Amenities include Wifi, TV, high chair, large dining areas, private office/study. 4 miles from Hastings, St Leonards & Battle, 10 miles to Rye & Bodiam. Close to Kent border. Local shop, pub & butcher in village. Public footpaths & longer walks nearby. Pets are welcome, but please bring their bedding. A medium sized dog cage is available on request.

The Annex

A two bedroom self-contained cottage set in the East Sussex countryside, with views of the Fairlight Hall Estate and the English Channel. On a clear day you can see as far as Dungeness and the inter-lying beaches. Situated between the historic old fishing port of Hastings and the fortified hilltop town of Rye, on the A259. The Annex is next door to a family home within their established garden, to which guests have access. The nearest railway stations are Battle or Hastings.

Guests may use our garden, Hot Tub, open spring summer extra daily charge min 2 day booking, use up to 10.30 pm.
