Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Western Province

This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

Udara is an exceptionally friendly, hospitable and thoughtful host. The main benefit of her well appointed home with all amenities, is the sheer size and space. There's three floors with a bedroom and a bathroom on each floor, a giant Samsung smart TV in the upstairs lounge which was very relaxing to watch when we needed to unwind. Ideally suited for a family on holiday, this three storey house is conveniently located in a safe suburban neighbourhood in Thalawathugoda, walking distance to supermarkets, shopping malls and restaurants. Udara's dad lives nearby and greeted us upon arrival and he is available for any assistance if needed. I highly recommend Udara's house as a peaceful retreat for those in need of a restful family vacation, whilst staying conveniently in Colombo. Thank you Udara for your kind hospitality, we truly appreciate it!

An absolutely delightful stay at Bright & Airy Second Floor Home! Nadee was an exceptional host, and my husband and I had a truly wonderful stay at her 'Bright & Airy Second Floor Home' for several days. From the moment we booked, communication was fantastic. We had a midnight flight, and I reached out to Nadee to ask for a very late checkout, hoping for 10 p.m. She was incredibly flexible and understanding, and to our delight, she granted our request free of charge! This made such a huge difference to our last day and travel experience. The apartment itself is lovely. The views from our room and the private terrace were absolutely amazing – perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening unwind. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped, which was a huge plus for us as we enjoy cooking, and we were even provided with free gas! Devinda's villa is very well kept, cosy and we felt right at home. It’s located in a peaceful suburban neighbourhood and is very close to supermarkets, shops and the Thalawathugoda town. We found Devinda's place to be very relaxing and peaceful. I fully recommend this place, it's ideal for a small family or group and Devinda is a very responsive and friendly host.

Mr Samantha was a friendly and a supportive host for us. Also, his place was calm and quite and we had all the households we needed at our stay. I highly recommend his place for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay.

Great Stay for a Quiet Getaway! I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The place was nice, clean, and well-maintained, offering a quiet and calm atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. While the location is a bit far from the beach and more on the inland side, it’s ideal for backpackers or those looking for a peaceful retreat. A nice bonus was the included breakfast, which was much appreciated. The host was friendly, supportive, and made sure everything was comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d recommend it to travelers who don’t mind being a little further from the shore.

We enjoyed our stay at Cosy Nook. It was spacious, airy, clean and comfortable and a quiet retreat yet conveniently located close enough to the airport, a 24/7 grocery store a short walk away and transport available freely by Pick Me app and on the main road nearby. The wonderful high ceilings added charm to the house and the huge veranda was a favourite relaxing spot for us. The full kitchen also had a water filter, which eliminated the hassle of having to buy bottled water. The hosts Merill and Inoka who live downstairs were super helpful and lovely people. Merrill helped arrange out transport from and to the airport, he even accompanied us when we needed to buy local Sims as the shop keeper didn't understand English. And Inoka helped find a driver guide for our day trip to Colombo. We really appreciated their kindness and help all through our stay. In all, a lovely place to stay and with very good and responsive hosts!

Totally recommend this Villa. The host, Jagath, is so accommodating and kind. Really nice rooms and plenty of space. Pool is great too!

We had the best stay! We literally have no complaints whatsoever. This was a weekend full of relaxation, nature and sunshine. Vinodh was very accommodating, quick to respond and gave us amazing local recommendations. We loved the free tuk tuk service to and from nearby restaurants. Whenever we had any questions, Vinodh was always super quick to respond and was always helpful. The airbnb has everything you might need from shampoo, insect repellant and lots of yummy snacks and drinks (and water) you can help yourself to. The breakfast each morning was amazing and Vinodh was so flexible with times and dietary requirements. We wished we could have stayed longer as it really is paradise. Highly recommend!!

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. Villa has a magnificent view and just views the serene water beneath the lovely sunset. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon. Thanks Ayesha for consistently checking on us! ❤️🤩

Die Unterkunf ist riesig und ein privater Ort über den Dächern von Negombo. Eine tolle Unterkunft um nach einem langen Flug erstmal abzuschalten. Für längere Aufenthalte mit Selbstversorgung reicht die Ausstattung der Küche jedoch nicht aus. Die Betten sind mega bequem und für diejenigen die eine Klimaanlage benötigen: die funktioniert super. Anuk war immer gut zu erreichen, half uns mit seinem Housekeeper beim Gepäck und organisierte uns ein Taxi für den Transport zum Airport.

Anuk is a very good host. His apartment is very nice, the pool is really amazing! It's the perfect place to stay if you what to visit Negombo, or if your want to sleep over because of the near airport! The pool with the nice view over the city was perfect! Anuk was very helpful and allowed us to let here our luggage so that we were able to enjoy Necombo after our Check-Out! :)

I rented the accommodation to celebrated a get-together with a local Family which basically saved my Life another night. I am so Happy this Host supported the stay. Miss Suwandi was acting as intermediate and just so sweet and understanding. The House was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary. Beds have been cozy. All was in good condition. Having a Pool was fantastic. The neighbours have been nice. We invited them to have Pizza. I Just can highly recommend renting this House for your stay at Negombo with your Friends or Family. All "child Security" recommendations have been directly accepted by the owner as well. so weather Friends or/ and Family - that's the place to Rent.

Staying at Lakmali's place in Runakanda Forest is definitely one of my top 5 favorite places in Sri Lanka. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay there, especially with my mom, as it was her first time in Sri Lanka,and she absolutely loved every moment of it! The food was beyond incredible! Each meal was showcasing the rich and flavorful Sri Lankan cuisine. The peaceful and serene surroundings of the forest made it the perfect escape. It’s a truly tranquil place where we could relax, and the location was just ideal for enjoying authentic local experiences. We had the chance to pick tea just a short walk away from the cottage, a unique experience that we’ll never forget. We also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people, and the warm hospitality made our stay feel special. My mom and I both agreed that it was a stay we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend Lakmali’s place highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and unforgettable experience in SL !

Strávili jsme v tomto ubytování nádherný čas a nemohli jsme si vybrat lépe! Nachází se na klidnějším místě, daleko od ruchu velkoměsta, ale stále s výbornou dostupností do centra. Největším bonusem byla prostorná terasa s úžasným výhledem na Colombo – obzvlášť večer to byl opravdu nezapomenutelný zážitek. Ubytování bylo útulné, čisté a krásně provoněné, s veškerým vybavením, které jsme potřebovali. Nešlo o žádný neosobní hotel, ale o místo s duší, kde jsme se cítili velmi příjemně❤️ Hostitelka Anushika byla nesmírně milá, ochotná a vždy připravená pomoci s jakýmkoliv dotazem. Je vidět, že se o své hosty stará s láskou a péčí. Pokud se znovu vydáme do Colomba, určitě se sem rádi vrátíme. Toto ubytování jednoznačně doporučujeme všem, kteří hledají klid, pohodu a krásné výhledy!❤️

Ich habe fast drei Monate im mi Casa gewohnt und mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Bei meiner Anreise wurde ich schon so nett und freundlich empfangen. Lex hatte für mich eingekauft , ein riesigen Korb mit Früchten und die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Kaffee , Tee, Brot, Butter , Öl zum Braten , Gewürze und 20 Liter Trinkwasser. Lex ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber der einem immer mit Rat und tat zur Seite steht. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Absolutely lovely space with gorgeous private gardens. I wish I could’ve stayed longer to enjoy it during the day! Perfect spot close to the airport and cafes, took me 20 mins by tuktuk. Little apartment was perfect and clean, I will be back! Thank you

We had a great stay! The room was very good—newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well thought-out. The host was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Communication was smooth, and their hospitality really stood out. I would definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it to others!

Good Place to Stay in 5 minutes away from the beach! Damayanthy was very helpful and his mom was also helpful too! Very good if your goal is to jump from Negombo to other cities! The family is so kind and hospitable, they even waited for me until 1 am until i arrived!
