Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Side

Host is very accommodating and responsive. The place is nice and was in a great location. Only a short 10 minute drive that was a straight shot to Michigan Ave. The only thing we felt was slightly misleading was that we were under the impression that the 3rd bedroom with a couch was able to pull out and convert into a bed. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, so we ended up leveraging an air mattress we had packed as a contingency. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Nicole and Matt’s place is a well-located, spacious apartment perfect for a family of four adults. Situated near Lincoln Park, it’s within walking distance to the park and a fantastic selection of restaurants. Nicole and Matt were also kind enough to provide recommendations and we did enjoy a couple of them. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped for a comfortable 4-day stay. The hosts were very responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. One consideration: the unit is spread over three levels, with the master bedroom on the top floor—potentially challenging for those with mobility issues. The second bedroom, located on the ground floor, lacks natural light and feels a bit confined. Overall, we had a pleasant and convenient stay.

We came for The Weeknd concert in the city, so we got ready there, then spent the night and morning in the house. It was a beautiful house and felt super peaceful and safe! The beds were insanely comfy and we all slept so well! So much space! Everything was just so homey and comfortable.

The house was beautiful and was perfect for our group. Everything was spotlessly clean and just as described. Access to the El was convenient but also created quite a lot of noise especially in the front of the house. This, of course, is completely out of the host’s control and we got used to it after 24 hours or so. The location was also convenient to the interstate that flows right into downtown, which was great for us as we were participating in a conference in a hotel on Michigan Avenue. Overall we had a great experience with the house and the host. Would recommend this location very highly.

Anita’s place was absolutely stunning and looked just like the photos. Extremely clean and very spacious. We hosted a 50th birthday brunch here and it was more than enough space and amenities to accommodate everyone. The rooftop was just amazing and a great addition to the place. Nice place. Very responsive host. Close to overhead train track (and therefore very convenient to the lines), but after the first couple of trains we didn’t even notice them. With the AC, bottom floor is quite cold but third floor runs a little warm. Great location for that part of town. Very helpful regarding flexibility with checking in and out. Would stay here again.

As a family of four, we felt right at home at Emily’s place. We had enough space. The place was spotless. It’s in a great, very walkable neighborhood, close to public transportation. Emily communicated proactively and was always helpful. We will be back.

We absolutely loved Keith and Valerie’s place! Very beautifully decorated, yet cozy feeling at the same time. The space was perfect for the 6 of us, and we definitely spent our fair share of time in the 3rd floor living area and game room. Easy 5 minute walk to the L, which we used all weekend to visit the Lincoln Park Zoo, Millennium Park, Rate Field for a Sox game, and Wrigley to see the Cubbies. Keith and Valerie were fantastic to communicate with, and we will 100% be staying here again!

This was a perfect place to stay for a weekend that included a concert at Soldier Field — so easy to walk there and back on a footpath. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again!

This is a great Airbnb - really clean and very pleasantly and thoughtfully furnished. In a world of Airbnbs out of an IKEA catalogue this stood out. It’s a really nice space to spend time in, with a large and sunny living/dining area. Michelle was also extremely responsive and friendly.

Great location and wonderful hosts! We will definitely be staying here next time we come to Chicago.

We had an amazing 5-star stay in Chicago! The home was spotless, artfully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches like a piano, guitar, and a welcome gift. We loved the 360° rooftop deck with a fireplace and the fully equipped kitchen with a balcony. Beds were super comfy with high-quality, clean bedding. Though close to downtown, the home is on a quiet street and offers keyless entry — very convenient. We also appreciated the private garage with EV charger, 3 TVs, 2 fireplaces, and a great Nespresso machine. The location is unbeatable—near top spots like Swift & Sons and City Winery. Natasha was an excellent, responsive host. We’re already planning to return!

We had an excellent time here. Our whole dance team was able to stay comfortably and safely. We managed to fit 5 cars in the parking which was essential to us. It was all clean close to everything we came to Chicago for. The communication with the host was great and always prompt. We loved it here.
