Apartment vacation rentals in West Melbourne

The apartment is located in downtown Melbourne, in a very new high rise and was impeccably clean. There is a small IGA a few doors down and some good bars and restaurants close by, as well as only 2 blocks from the Southern Cross station and the river. Although it is relatively sparsely furnished, it has everything that we needed for a short break, and the gym in the building is much better than most hotel gyms. Chris was very responsive and allowed us to leave our luggage because our flight arrived in Melbourne early. Although it didn't impact us because we were out an about for most of the day, there is no TV (but a piano if you are musically inclined) and while the bed was comfortable, it was like a futon on the floor, so it may not be ideal for older people with mobility issues. The price was amazing for such a nice apartment on a high floor in central Melbourne, and I would definitely recommend the apartment.

An absolutely wonderful stay! Tony & Annie has been an exceptional host from start to finish. The communication was prompt, warm, and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The property itself was immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials and household items needed for a comfortable stay — it truly felt like a home away from home. The view from the apartment was beautiful, and the location couldn’t have been better — with great cafés, restaurants, trams, and the train station all just a short walk away. Annie was also kind enough to allow us a late checkout, which made a huge difference on our travel day. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back in the future. Before I start, I'll tell you the end; you should stay here if you ever get the chance! From the first moment I contacted Helen with an enquiry, to their final goodbye message, they were the best hosts I've ever experienced. They were super friendly, responded ridiculously quick, gave great recommendations and truly felt they loved you staying at their place. And Amy, who let us in, was just as brilliant and welcoming! As for the unit, it was super-clean, had an awesome view, was quiet and secure and was the type of place you wish you could style your own like. The kitchen fit-out was top notch and the pantry was full of great staples if you ever wanted to cook. However, why would you cook at this end of the cbd with restaurants, bars, cafes and laneway hideouts galore? I love staying at their Spring St end of town and this place just made it even better.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very well-maintained. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and local attractions. The apartment had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and we especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, swimming pool, common office space, sauna, steam room and a well-equipped kitchen. It felt like a home away from home! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area—I’d definitely stay here again!

One of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. Location was quiet, hardly any street noise despite being on the first floor next to the street. A few decent coffee places that were within walking distance. Will be good if you drive to get to the city. Jake’s instructions on how to check in were great and highly detailed with clear pictures on how to get in. Highly appreciated. Place was spotless and modern. Amenities all provided for. Jake was also really good at checking in to see if we were alright and offering help with whatever we needed. 5/5 will book again the next time I’m back in Melbourne.

I had a great stay at Giovanni's place in May 2025. Giovanni stayed up to meet me and was very helpful showing me around. The flat was nicely decorated and has a great balcony. It is conveniently located near train and tram stations in the city centre, only a very short walk from the Yarra river wnd convention centre. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time in the apartment, with very easy access to transportation, and many things we wanted to see and do were within walking distance or a quick free tram ride away. Southern Cross Station is a five minute walk, which gives you access to regional and Metro trains, too. The neighborhood is quiet and green, and morning coffee on the balcony was a treat. Though we didn't actually use them, the gym and pool are great perks. We would happily stay here again.

Staying at Rodger’s place meant being minutes away from the CBD in a clean and private area and great communication from the management team. Great experience and just what we needed!

I stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect for my visit to Melbourne. Factory outlet stores across the road. Trains and trams for transport. Restaurants and takeaways right at the buildings entrance, literally. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thanks Fil for an amazing stay, photos were pretty much exactly what was in the listing, and the view of South Melbourne from the apartment was such a great touch and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city, though the location was also really convenient, very near to the tram stop. Apartment was clean and so comfortable, the kids had a great time!

Henfry’s place was the perfect base for our trip to Melbourne. Henfry left clear instructions for parking, check in and the apartment’s amenities. We really enjoyed the pool! We had a very positive experience and would happily stay again.

We have no words to describe the beauty of this sweet and cozy place. This stay added more glow to our holiday. My family did enjoy the stay at Victoria’s place. The accommodation looked exactly the same as in the pictures. Enjoying the stunning view every day and night could be a highlight of the trip! The location was convenient, within walkable distance to the Skybus station, and there was accessible transport to the tourist spots. Also, Victoria was responsive and provided help asap when we needed it. We would highly recommend this place.

Our family loved Anna’s space. She was so kind and helpful! It was a perfect size for our group of 5. Situated near a tram stop that’s in the free tram zone. We have visited Melbourne many times but this is by far our favourite stay. Super convenient and met our needs of open space for our toddler to expand her energy. Clean apartment and accessible!
