This is a refurbished daylight basement apartment, with a separate entrance, and free parking. We are in a quiet neighborhood in West Slope, with easy access to the freeway into downtown Portland (5 miles), or the highway into Beaverton (2 miles). We are also close to Forest Park where the zoo, Washington Park, hiking trails, Pittock Mansion, and other outdoor activities are located. We are not far from restaurants, bars, movies, shopping, etc. (The rental does not have a stovetop or oven.)

Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

Host lives on premises. Not a party house. Please note that the February wind and ice storms destroyed the back yard pond. The back porch is still usable, but has the "beauty" of the destruction of nature and not the beauty of the hard work of creating an elegant landscaped pond.
