For whatever brings you through/to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. The neighborhood is peaceful and your private patio is the perfect place for a beverage and some bird and squirrel watching. If it rains, hang out in the gazebo! Hope to host you here!

Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country the 1100 SqFt private unit provides a unique opportunity to experience the north west. We are at the center of a hub with equal access to Hillsboro, Sherwood, Newberg and Beaverton for all of the night life and restaurants while being within a few miles of 100+ wineries. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Studio in Wine Country

Our farmhouse is in a quiet rural setting. Public transportation is not available. Uber and Lyft service the area. Wineries, the city of Forest Grove and Pacific University are with in a few minutes drive. It is 50 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes to Portland. The studio is located in the basement of our home and has a private entrance. The accommodations include a queen bed, a twin hide-a-bed, sitting area, studio kitchen and full bath.
