The 800+ sq ft space includes a private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and balcony with views of downtown. Picnic table and grassy area below balcony can be used on those nice Iowa days.

We were so delighted to stay at this sweet spot again! We visited in November and had a great experience and it was just as great this time. The location is just lovely and absolutely peaceful. A very secluded spot where we enjoyed a nice bonfire and listened to the birds + bullfrogs. We hope to visit again soon!

We stayed in the house with two families while in town for a baseball tournament. The kids had a great time at the house playing in the backyard and basement. The hot tub was a hit. The host even had shampoo and conditioner along with some other toiletries. We would definitely stay again.

If you’re traveling to Des Moines with a group for an event or celebration, and would like to be able to relax and spend some time together, THIS is the perfect place for you! “The Glenda” is beautiful and comfortable and filled with modern conveniences. The living/family rooms are large and inviting; the kitchen is a well-equipped and spacious gathering spot; and the bedrooms and bathrooms are large, light-filled, and comfortable. Danielle has truly thought of everything! A variety of fun snacks and beverages are there upon arrival — great for long distance travelers and groups racing to events during their stay. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for runs, but also close to everything in West Des Moines. This was the best rental home we have ever stayed in, and it’s in lovely Des Moines, IA! We will definitely be back whenever visiting family here! Thanks again, Danielle!
