Stylish flat in green surroundings, near Basel

SvenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay here! The place was just the perfect size for our family-cozy yet spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. The garden was a real highlight: beautifully kept and very welcoming, a great space for both kids and adults to relax. Everything was spotless and clean, and the quiet surroundings made it ideal for our children’s bedtime. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the essential drinks that were provided to the baby crib offered for our little one. These details really made a difference and showed how much care went into hosting 🤗 Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay! Thank you again Marianne and Daniel

gîte maison alsacienne

What a beautiful country home! Stayed 1 week at Johan & Aurelie's house with 4 friends to attend Eurovision 2025 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel. We rented a car from Sixt on the FRA side of the airport. Getting here was a breeze with GPS. Johan welcomed us and gave a quick, thorough home tour. He remained in communication for questions. Felt supported knowing he was nearby. House was spotless and spacious. We enjoyed using the deck BBQ to grill veggies and sausage from nearby LeClerc supermarket. Well-equipped kitchen to make fabulous meals from local ingredients and save €€€ over eating out in Switzerland. Bakery nearby. Comfy beds. Plenty of bathrooms. Pretty forest walking/jogging trails with outdoor exercise areas. Don't miss the cheese shop in Vieux-Ferrette and a tasting at any of the nearby vineyards. We used Park&Ride and trains to get into Basel, but drove around on sightseeing days. So convenient.

Typical Alsatian house – In the storks' nest

SandraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We felt very comfortable here. We will be happy to come back to this clean and large cottage. We were there with 6 adults and 3 small children and everyone had plenty of space. There is even a small game/reading room. Since we had some bad luck with the weather, we spent a lot of time indoors, and did not feel cramped at all. Communication with Cyrille and Laura was always friendly, quick and very helpful. Thanks for this great vacation.

Our stay was very nice! Renée and Christian welcomed us very warmly and we felt very comfortable. We had many beautiful surprises waiting for us. The house is very well equipped, even with a grill, bicycles and many kitchen utensils. We would come back any time and can only recommend the Airbnb.

Chalet Café-Chocolat

GaëlRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a great time at this beautiful Café-Chocolat cottage. The welcome was excellent, complete tour of the accommodation with detailed explanations. We enjoyed the atmosphere it gave off (Christmas decorations, view of the small valley, forest at the back, wood stove, etc.). Passing through for the Christmas markets, we found the accommodation well located to get to Alsace, Switzerland and Doubs (between 30 and 60 minutes drive). It was a wonderful discovery, there is no hesitation!
