Flat in an old farmhouse

We turned an old stable into an apartment. We tried to preserve the atmosphere of the place. The flat is located in the courtyard of a renovated old farm where we are living ourselves (parents and 2 children). The area is called the Wagram, 3 km away from the Danube and around 50 km away from the center of Vienna. Animals are also part of the family; one cat and a chicken with whom you are welcome to interact. However, they are not allowed in the flat :-)

It is located only a 7-minute walk to Neulengbach train station. Train connection to Vienna center is optimal, but to the airport is complicated. The apartment is on the 1st floor. We live in the wing next door on the ground floor. We are also available for tips and questions or a little chat.

Bicycles for the Heurigen ride, boats for river and lake and are available from us free of charge. And Josephsbrot, the really good bakery with a cafe is in the village! Susanne is a youth coach. Susanna gladly welcomed us and she was very friendly and helpful. The apartman was well-equipped, spacious and perfectly clean. The good location made it easy to reach hiking destinations in a short time by car, and also the lovely old town was a good walk from the apartman, where we enjoyed delicious dinners. We would happily return any time in the future, absolutely recommended! Just like on the pictures.

A quiet place with a great view. Large garage available. The host's instructions are striking. Return the key to the box or you will be fined, sort the waste or you will be fined. Before you arrive, your host will have placed you in the appropriate guest category. It's the same as if the receptionist at the hotel said at check-in that we expect you to steal towels and expect a penalty. Filling in the form is also annoying, usually it is the data that the host has available from Airbnb.

Unfortunately, we only spent 1 night there on our Danube bike tour. The apartment is super nice, large, modern and very clean. You could stay here very well for a long time. It even has a bike storage. You can't hear anything from the train station, the house is generally very quiet. In the immediate vicinity is a Billa and a bakery is within walking distance in the train station. It is a maximum of 5 minutes by bike to the center. Communication with Jonny was also great, he is very nice and friendly and always responded immediately. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend the apartment 100% :-)

We had a very enjoyable stay! The apartment was lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need. The beds were super comfortable – we slept really well. Parking right in front of the house was completely uncomplicated. We would like to emphasize the nice and smooth contact with Andreas – fast, friendly and helpful. The only small criticism: The apartment was quite warm – a little cooler would have been ideal. Nevertheless, highly recommended – I'd love to come back.
