An architecturally sleek, light-filled apartment surrounded by meadows, forest, and mountains—modern, stylish, and consciously minimalist. Here, you will stay in the middle of nature, with maximum privacy and a mountain panorama. In the garden, there is a wooden sauna with sweeping views over the deer enclosure and the surrounding mountains. The apartment is located on a small organic farm that I run according to permaculture principles. There are deer in the meadows, as well as chickens, bees, cats, and a fish pond.

In summer hiking trails, bike paths and an outdoor pool nearby (100 m) for the family with children. Completely independent with private entrance, terrace and parking in front of the door. Barbecue. We completed this dream chalet with about 200 m² of usable space in 2020 to spend our vacations in the beautiful Lachtal together with our two children. The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 hectares of meadow, 1 hectare of forest, a place for retreat, for family vacations, for "Simply being in Hollenstein". Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag bike path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house when the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

Ideal getaway cabin Feel yourself and nature. In the vicinity are the 3 Lunzer lakes, the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park and beautiful mountain and hiking routes! Cycling enthusiasts will particularly like the Ybbs Valley cycle path. With canyoning, rafting and Flying Fox, adventure seekers are not left wanting. In the surrounding restaurants, inns and taverns you will be spoiled with culinary delights. Access to the cabin is possible by car via a gravel road.

The lovely Sonnreith cabin is located in the mountain village of Spital/Pyhrn on the sunny slope with some neighboring houses. It is newly furnished and has a living area of 34 m² - many loving details were made by hand - very cozy. A fireplace and infrared heating provide pleasant warmth. There is underfloor heating in the anteroom and bathroom. The cabin is in a quiet, beautiful panoramic location. Hiking trails and the mountain bike trail are nearby (100 meters)

Accommodation in the Gesäuse

The ecological mini wooden house on the banks of the Enns was designed by the artist and mountain hiking guide Susanne Posegga and built by hand with love. The colors of the building reflect the landscape and the refined architecture makes the building appear much larger than it actually is. The sunny location right on the bank of the wild river overlooking the majestic peaks of the Gesäuse is unique. You can also dock kayaks directly at the property.

Immerse yourself in nature, recharge your batteries and enjoy peace and quiet. Your apartment is accessible via an external staircase and is in a quiet location, without hustle and bustle and noise. Starting point for many hiking trails and excursion destinations, right on the way to Lugauer. There is enough space for your children to play, pet and watch animals. To relax, you have seating and space for grilling at the edge of the forest.

Spend an unforgettable time in the secluded, wild and romantic forest hut KOSAK, located at about 1,300 m above sea level, just a short drive via a private forest road from Trofaiach. In the cozy farmhouse parlor, a table stove awaits you, providing cozy warmth. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor with 4 futon beds. 👉 Our Kosak forest hut has been expanded: Since May 2025 with shower & toilet!
