Such a gem! Host was amazing! Friendly and accommodating! Many extras were thought of and appreciated! Everything was labeled and made life easy! Extras like fans, blankets, coffee, water bottles, iron, blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner and even bubble bath! A closet full of fun appliances in the kitchen including a waffle maker and hot dog grilled/roller! We loved the basement with bathroom and video games!! There was even a PlayStation upstairs! We roasted marshmallows and made smores outside in the fire pit! Highly recommend! This was the perfect spot to stay and relax with our brand new sailor! He had extended leave after bootcamp since he is attending A school in the area and this was the perfect retreat. Only 20 mins from base. Guillermo even bought us dinner one evening as a thank you for his service! 🇺🇸 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

Talk about fully loaded! This place has it all. Ample space, stocked necessities, incredible views. Don’t get me started on the neighbors, so much fun! Alexis was super helpful and made our stay so comfy and honestly unforgettable. We loved every minute of this place & can’t wait to come back again!

We had such a great experience in Emily's home. We were blown away by the place , it was everything we wanted and more. This was our first experience in an Air bnb, so has made a very good impression on this service. We stayed here for our son's bootcamp graduation and it was the perfect location. Close to the train station if you want to commute to Chicago, a lovely beach nearby, a large mall etc., and most importantly a 10-15 minite drive to the Navy Base, everything you could possibly need but still tucked away in the sweetest historic neighborhood. we absolutely loved it and can't wait to book it again to visit him in A school. The house itself was clean, very tastefully decorated, and had very comfy beds! our son loved the master bed! On top of that many amenities were supplied, coffee machine, laundry, games etc. Thank you for being such a great host Emily. If your place is available we will definitely book again!

Four adults stayed for my granddaughter’s graduation from navy boot camp. Two of her friends also hung out with us during the day. It was close (10-12 minutes) from the base so easy to get to the ceremony and pick up/drop off. The space was super clean and I appreciated that there were 2-1/2 bathrooms with 4 of us getting ready at the same time graduation morning. The screened porch off the kitchen is bigger than it appears in the pictures and there’s a patio as well. Communication with Tawny was also great. We would definitely stay here again.

Marsha and her co-hosts were responsive and pleasant. After we had an unexpected accident Marsha graciously allowed us to book another day. My adult sons, sister, husband and I had a comfortable and quiet stay. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Allison’s place is very comfortable. If you love dogs, you’ll love her place because her dogs are so sweet. She is very responsive and very flexible. If an issue arises, she is more than helpful and willing to work with you. I highly recommend her place!

I have rented many properties over the years for family vacations, reunions and leisure. Sandra’s property stood out from many others due to how clean, new and newly remodeled everything was. There is a golf course right in the backyard, the home is cozy and perfect for entertaining my group of 8 adults. We were in town to attend my brother’s Navy boot camp graduation and we all had a great time. The kitchen is brand new and has great appliances to include an oven that is able to air fry. I had no problem baking my brother his favorite cheesecake, as the kitchen is well stocked. Located super close to Target and a grocery store. We will defiantly be renting this property again if we are in the Chicago/Great Lakes area again. Sandra was super attentive and responsive. She made great recommendations and was very accommodating to our family.

My stay at Chris's Airbnb was phenomenal! The apartment was high-tech and spotless. I visited Illinois to see my son and his sailor friends during their weekend pass. Great Lakes is only 10 minutes away from the Airbnb, making commuting smooth. What I loved most were the neighborhoods and the wonderful neighbors I met. I met the owner of Dinosaur Tattoo, who was extremely nice, and I ended up getting a tattoo from Randy. The tattoo artist, Kat, was also friendly and beautiful. On another day, I met the owner of a bar, casino, and restaurant located on the lower level of the building. He invited me to try a special menu that day, which included full wings, collard greens, and macaroni and cheese. I ended up enjoying delicious food and got a leg tattoo, all just steps away from Chris's Airbnb! I also had the chance to visit the beach, which is only five minutes away. There's a $20 parking fee, but it was worth it—I had a blast! I made some great friends that I hope to visit again.
